I don't understand why can't a 3rd party battery grip auto focus. Unless it doesn't have the snap button at all?

U should do some googling and read some reviews by the professionals.

f/2 means smallest numbered F-stop u can go is f/2.
same thing does to 50mm f/1.8, f/1.4, f/1.2 (normally the smaller F-stop, the more expensive the lens is)

However, smaller numbered F-stop isn't always good, IMHO. though the pictures produced are most of the time bokeh-licious.

^ electronically rechargable silica gel would be better in this case. thirsty hippo is too strong.

@tengster read on the user's manual, which is exactly what I'm gonna do during my 2-week sem break. lol.

Also, experiment with different settings, i.e. aperture, shutter speed n ISO, to understand better. Google for tips n tricks for certain type of photography, i.e. tips for portraiture, landscape, etc.

Hi sifus, wanna ask some question here. I just bought d90 two days ago. However got prob with the autofocus, I found out that it was inconsistent. Sometimes can autofocus, sometimes cannot. Mostly cannot. I suspect its hardware defect. I already check all the settings (default setting), set the body and lens to af. Any ideas how? Tq-

What were u trying to shoot?

To make it clearer, were u trying to shoot something really close up?

Means SB700 might be 1.2-1.3k?

I doubt so. Probably months after it's released.
