QUOTE(reloaded @ Sep 14 2010, 10:15 PM) Wow, D7000 on its way... Rumoured that the D90 replacement is above D90 in terms of level but below D300s, so I am guessing the price of a new D90 replacement is going to cost at least RM4k(w/kit lens)How much is the price estimated to be in your opinion? If its RM4k or above, I might as well just get the D90 as I'm on a budget. |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Sep 15 2010, 08:14 AM) D7000 looks awesome! Love the design and new buttons a lot. The directional button has 8 directions! Sweet~ Hopefully got better high ISO performance and AF system, cos the D90 really starts to slow down when the light level is low, unlike D300s and above Now if the battery grip has a directional button too then this is one heck of killer cam. The new 39 points AF, wonder how many cross sensors and f/2.8 sensitivity points. |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Sep 15 2010, 01:53 PM) I'm only interested with the ISO performance, D3100 has good ISO for DX. Let's see D7000 can retain same thing cause it has higher MP compared to D3100. Oh yeah, I am also interested at the ISO performance, iso 1600 for D90 is really the max I would go |

QUOTE(SoLiD @ Sep 16 2010, 05:39 PM) nikon user will tell u nikon is better built, I agree with the last sentence, but if u compare D300s/7D and D700/5dMarkII, then u will know Nikon really feel better and sturdier canon user will tell u canon is better built, in the end u have to hold the camera in your hand and judge by yourself, no point following the masses but the camera u bought feels un-comfortable in your hands |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Sep 16 2010, 07:07 PM) D70000 is similar to D300s, I see the body is larger than the D90, but doesn't seem as big as the D300s. Only the top and bottom of the D7000 body is Magnesium Alloy, the rest is not.. While the D300s is surrounded by Magnesium Alloy |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Sep 24 2010, 07:22 AM) Nothing wrong ;-), just most of the time the girls don't appear xD. Seems to be miles better than the D90, I guess nonit buy FF already Added on September 24, 2010, 10:17 amCame across these images captured by D7000 with high ISO. http://www.fotografie.fr/fotoforum/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=913 http://www.hwupgrade.it/articoli/fotografi...i-scatti_2.html Very impressive for a crop sensor in my opinion Shocked . Now I'm curious what the next generation full frame from Nikon would perform in the ISO department. |

D3s iso performance is way above D3, even the ISO 6400 of D3s looks really clean...... It's totally a new sensor

QUOTE(Isepunye @ Sep 25 2010, 08:33 PM) i thnk he already mention that this thread surely said D90. and my answer is the same. reason, bigger body, top screen. dual dial. I think the model he wanted is 50D, not 500D ... Imho canon colour is soft while nikon colour is very vivid, good for scenery, canon's colour is better for potraitISO level only slightly differ, sharpness at my ametuer eye slighty differ. canon sharp soft, nikon sharp detail. nikon color is the weak point. canon color more alive i guess. even after PP also canon wins. nikkor has better lens line up. (dont let canon guys read diz or i die lo) nikon speedlight has better TTL accuracy and to me i thnk the ambiance is nicer... i much prefer nikkor button compare to canon (depend on user) else what more meh? go to shop and hold both body. choose which u more comfy with. image quality wise. almost same at ametuer eyes. |
