hello, i just got my n900 today, i'm still trying to figure out how to config fmms i read the page adi but i not sure what i have to do, as in where do i key in the settings for the APN..i'm on digi..can anyone help?

er guys, i'm trying to install rootsh from my memory card..trying to OC it..but upon clicking on the file it says please wait while it's installing and nothing moves...as in no progress on the install status bar..why ah?

coz i downloaded it from the link from the front page under maemo.org..den i copied the rootsh thingy .install file into my memory card den ran from the file manager which opened the apps installer thingy...wrong method ?

yeah bro, just one small hiccup though, i placed the zimage file on the root of my memory card and typed the command as what you show, but it says file doesn't exist..

but bro its in the root of the memory card right? i mean the pathway doesn't seem logic coz its supposed to be in a folder by name of MyDocs but now we dump the file in the root of the mmc wor...can work de?

aspire, i did the method u told me, as in cut and paste into xterminal..still same error..file does not exist...i think the only problem is my fiasco file is in a wrong place...hahaha charm..coz i put on the root of the memory card cannot...maybe its putting at root of the internal mem ka bro?

ya bro it works adi..the command on ur front page actually the file is to be in the root of the internal phone mem and not the memory card it seems..i took the safe route of only using 750mhz, coz i have a XT720 motoroi as well and that one also OC 720 only..original 550 was frigging slow...if not mistaken they are both on the same processor so i think i jsut play safe..and seriously its much smoother compared to the default 600mhz..really really happy with it now

Added on September 17, 2010, 7:46 pmanother problem i noted with this phone is, when using data plan, when the signal drops from 3.5g, to 2.5g to 2g...wah it will keep dc de leh, saying no cellular data network ..i read up and it seems its a rather common problem..any of u guys faced it?
