But there's already so many similar interface OS around; no other that is similar with Maemo interface. It's such a waste.

MeeGo? There's already Android; and end users most probably wouldn't know the internal difference or the OS type. Plus, the MeeGo OS interface,... somehow I feel Android interface looks better. Ouch.

Jananan seems MIA for some time too; I've been using his suggestion to reset the swap usage thus less restart needed, but when setting swapoff, it takes some time, and if I go back to desktop or menu, the device will restart/shutdown. Need to let it finish and set it back on. Sometimes, when the swap usage too high, it refuse to off it, returning a message "Killed". No choice have to restart device.

anyone managed to go online with 2G speed? just in case when youre out of 3G coverage and needs to be online urgently. I found a setting which you can get online with GSM connection.

I'm using maxis btw and can confirm the settings for maxis works. The data rate still applies just like 3G internet rate and can be used with mobile broadband.

Operator: - Maxis
GPRS APN: - internet.gprs.maxis
Username: - {blank}
Password: - {blank}
DNS: - 202.75.129.101, 10.216.4.21

Note: Maxis still eat some of your credits and refund right after you disconnected the internet. Finally I still can have internet access even I was out of 3g coverage. But yeah, speed still sucks just like old GPRS day

wow...superb..me now holiday...browsing internet only using laptop...but my phone only can last 1 day....sms & phone only...what battery he use?

my mistake i guess..luckily only last day photos..if all then im dead meat..dunno y they prefer asking N900 to take pic instead of dlsr cam.

Fcam oso not yet install..dun have sufficient time to explore Fcam..maybe next trip i will show off.

Just checked at App Manager and it written there Fcam Drivers lol ! It seem like I couldn't find Fcam in my app manager maybe I should look around maemo.org then x.x

hey, anyone here know how to hide SYGIC VOICE and SOUND folder to avoid the music player in N900 search on them? i try make both of the files to become hidden but the player still can find them out.. i saw the solution before but i have forgotten how is the way already..thanks for the help..
