It could be limited price deal offer. One of the lenglui HTC promoter told me the phone was HD7 and the price is RM899, but that was back in few months.

probably can still find that deal .

People increased the price because of mango and also becoz of limited demand for htc hd7.not easy to get.

if it reaches 1k+ might as well go for 2nd generation
