QUOTE(kaka_89 @ Jun 8 2011, 11:18 PM) 4.0g's and above really need to pump more vcore.. Yeahh, must be some kind of "golden" stepping here? i'm running 4.2g's @ cpuV 1.3875..luckily i'm running on water.. try and run your rams on the desired timing..8-8-8-28/82 or 88...loosen the timings will sometimes gets you a stable linx.. I just re-check, in BIOS the vCore were 1.312v plus LLC Enabled TRUE also cant handle the temperature nicely. I dont know if I could improve it IF I setup my TRUE with dual fan~ |

QUOTE(monsh @ Jun 9 2011, 01:51 AM) there's a hole for BCLK . I think you kinda correct there. Guess I talk too early, last night I cant turn on my PC due to this "hole" thingy. So, I increase the BCLK & maintained the voltages. Pretty stable, passed Vantage, 3DMark 11 & LinX(diagnostic mode). Guess I'll stick around for a while before lowering the CPU vCore..so sometimes no matter how much u play around wif certain bclk, it'll will be unstable . its called BCLK hole . btw, im running 4k uncore for 2k dram |

QUOTE(monsh @ Jun 10 2011, 07:22 PM) I just do some search, there is way around to overcome this "hole".. The forum said, by increasing the PCIe voltage could override this matter. Havent try it out yet as I didnt find recommended voltage for PCIe~ |

QUOTE(aLWAYStHEsAME @ Jul 5 2011, 09:04 AM) 1.168v after droop bro.. You could read the tread there. Prime95 not really stressing i7 I think. Plus, we all here use LinX for stressing purpose. For Core 2 family, Prime95 might relevant..Thanks for sharing the link, any particular reasons why we should use linX instead of prime95? |

No budget allocated for WC setup, just goin' with TRUE here aLWAYStHEsAME should linX at least 20 runs. With a better cooler say wc or in AC environment i believe u guys can do 4.3GHz HT ON. Btw i heard that Corsair H100 is abt 10C+ better than H5O so let's give it a try. |

Hmm I dunno really, but I think it depend on the RAM fsb applied.. Higher fsb = high gflops~

QUOTE(owikh84 @ Aug 10 2011, 11:15 AM) I migt hv solutions for this coma I believe mine got such option. Dya suggesting me to try or just to mengsuan? 1) go to Power Management options, power option, there u can see "turn off hard drive" option, disable this by selecting never or change 20mins to zero. 2) in bios settings choose S3 sleep mode instead of both S3+S1. |
