Step 1. Cheese your way to Diamond
Step 2. Don't play league so you can keep the diamond.

The good way : keep playing, learning new build, and when you lose a match, rewatch the replay and check where you did wrong, fix the mistake and play the next match, and keep doing so until you're Diamond.

The cheap way : Play Terran and fukken MMM it!

Does not always work when in team games or if the other opponents do a tech rush.

Aside from watching matches which I lost, I also watch matches which I win, catch the details which you might improve even tho you win, and take notice opponent's mistakes and behavior.

Of course watch hi rank matches too.

1) No

2) 1 Month Ago

3) 3 hours per day (Sem Exam now)

4) Learn how to watch a replay instead of watching as if it is a movie.

1) No

2) End of phase 1

3) Only play less than 5 matches a day (not as crazy as shinji)

Watch replays of the games that I've lost.

1) yes

2) late phase 1 beta

3) weekdays 5ish hours weekends until exhaustion

tips: keep playing. learn from your mistakes, improve yourself (be it physical finger/hand reflexes, thinking/thought process reflexes), diversify your strategy, and improve your micro/macro. replays of your own mistakes is fine and all, but try to reach to a point where you can KNOW what went wrong without the replay. that way, you save that replay time, and can use it to play more games, get more experience etc.

Diz thread is a spotlight threads for diamond players, laugh.gif

However I do agree that their advice are for you to improve yourself

I find it better if you practice in a game with a referee who can point out ur mistakes~ coz sometimes when I play, I get so caught up with my own macro that I didn't notice things
