I guess so. Cause when I ask the shopowner to sell the game, the guy told me that his retail copy of the game will be sold this coming Wednesday... He told me what he has is the store copy for promotional only,... hhehehe

So, i'm getting mine this Wednesday... Some of the forumer here will get early i guess cause the retail release for this game is April 19 (Tuesday)

Kratos is playable out of the shelf. Itu online pass ja to allow us play online vs ja yg missing ni. I also asking my friend if can confirm about the pass code. If dun have then need to think which region to buy.

Online Pass:
The pass is given free for a new purchase of the game. In this case, R1 and R2 (I think) as R3 people don't get it.
On layman's term, first hand, got online pass (should) second hand, no online pass, needs to buy currently at us psn store @ USD19.99

Different from DC Online Universe, where it is subscription based and you need to renew every month or year, for Mortal Kombat, as of current, the developers said that it is only one time charge, USD19.99 for 1 user and that's it, no need to pay anymore.

For the best region to buy, my past experience with MK vs DC Universe, the online is region lock, meaning if ur copy is region 3, you cannot play with your friends who has Region 1. This could change for this new Mortal Kombat, or not...

maybe you should buy the region that ur friends are buying... but bear in mind however, this game is heavily based on DLC, and we all know that MY and SG PSN is abit slow on the update side....

yes bro the code is only needed for online functions. to play the game single player, no need. but its suppose to be given free with the disc that u buy, R3.

its same like u buy nasi lemak but without sambal. no sambal no syok right? can still eat, but where's the kick in that haha.
