Hi guys, I was hoping that someone here could help me.

I got this game and have not been able to play online at all in spite of using the passcode. I've also started using a wireless router, changed it to wired and back again etc. and I still can't play this game online. I am able to download all the compatibility packs with no problem and can play games like SOCOM4 online. I have a TMnet Streamyx 1Mbps package. This message keeps coming out when trying to play MK online:

"The network connection to your system has been lost. Make sure your Ethernet cables and router are connected properly"

Can anyone help me please?

I have no problems with internet surfing, also I'm able to browse the PSN / Playstation store.

I've tried disabling the windows firewall and still nothing. Not sure if I can disable the firewall for the router... I'm using a TP-Link wireless modem router TD-W8960N

I've tried port forwarding as well but still no difference... please help

I bought Mortal Kombat from Pbbseller who has the impulse megastore in these forums. It had the kombat pass inside. Even my SOCOM4 had the preorder dlc and the pro stuff as well. I was quite impressed.

Although, I still can't play online even with the Kombat pass activated , WB is still trying to help me on that lol.

Are you able to play online after purchasing the pass?

Bro is your version R1 or R3? coz I got my R3 version from Pbb and the code was inside and it worked just fine. (Server connectivity problems are a different issue coz I could download all the free DLC ).

Lol at the developers coz the other day when I mentioned MK they told me that MK was supposed to be banned in Malaysia and they were surprised that I could download the latest patch even. Apparently they too are not sure entirely about what's going on in the world

btw I was more keen to play MK for the DLC stuff anyways...
although it would have been sweet to play online too
