ok guys..my persona today got funny sound when open & close the door.
did anyone heard 'ktak tak ' sound while swing the front door?(passanger&driver) already spray wd40 at the black plastic (door halter maybe) but no luck. Added on September 21, 2010, 7:11 pm QUOTE(jasondotcom @ Sep 21 2010, 02:55 PM) - yes his is slightly different from mine and my bro's 08 model. but basically its the same location. See the carper right under it? it is basically blocking you from pulling the filter out easily. So... press the carpet down firmly and slowly slide out the filter element. Tight clearance though. lol Added on September 21, 2010, 2:57 pm but the sponge around the filter frame looks very fragile..my sponge already torn out...a little.. so far done 3 times for cleaning..after cleaning use speed1, 25 degree celcius= instant fridge... j/k QUOTE(mafarizan @ Sep 21 2010, 04:29 PM) This post has been edited by MjMax15: Sep 21 2010, 07:14 PM |

QUOTE(s@ni @ Sep 29 2010, 05:36 PM) Nissan sunny? too much heat from the engine perhaps? do you sell cleaning kit?cleaning kit can be found at lelong.com.my rm100 +- for 2 sets. thus rm50/set as per instruction manual, cleaning of k&n air filter needs to be done between 30k -50k mileage, depends on the road condition (dusty or not) QUOTE(Beogatts @ Sep 29 2010, 07:02 PM) just wanna ask if anyone facing the same issue. using auto also same like that but move a little only while entering/out the vehicle. our foot will make the mat slided thus become not aligned lol..I m having issue with the floor mat on driver side. the mat keep on moving till it became like going to fold. this happens when i use the clutch alot. it is very annoying to my left foot. Is anyone having the same problem or is it just my driving style..? those MT drivers especially.. sometimes feel want to paste some rubber below it..looolll |

QUOTE(jasondotcom @ Oct 14 2010, 09:45 AM) just wondering, anyone had experience replacing the stock headers to aftermarket headers like 4-2-1 or 4-1, WITHOUT changing the rear and mid mufflers? I need to know if by JUST changing the header and maintaining the rest like the mid and rear muffler stock, will the rear muffler emit any weird metallic / cracking noises???? I am asking this because i had bad experience with my ex car when replacing to aftermarket headers with the rest stock whereby the muffler emits a loud metallic noise. QUOTE(ZenGTMM @ Oct 14 2010, 11:28 AM) Ya my friend just change headers for his old persona.. He changed to galvanised one (tak kilat one,im not sure if thats what they call it).. Not those stainless steel ones.. He said low rpm in town driving the sound is a bit funny and quite 'kosong'.. But when reach higher rpm the sounds become quite bassy but not deep sounded like those conti sport cars.. dunno true or not. workshop told me, its better change rear muffler (s-flow) together, if not u will heard 'preng' or other funny sound because it design better compatible airflow from aftermarket header.im noob so this my cent only This post has been edited by MjMax15: Oct 14 2010, 12:01 PM |

Added on October 14, 2010, 1:39 pm S-flow is good for auto tranmission. with combination of 4-2-1 extractor & rear S-flow muffer. it give low end good torque responce.
