New replacement filter. Look at the size. It fits tightly into the box. Just right. No gaps.

Now i scared to change to aftermarket drop in filter ady..   
Even ori filter also so dirty, if aftermarket means they more dirt will be let into the engine for combustion..

U also can use D'carbo Carbon cleaner for combustion chamber within 5k - 10k interval of mileage id Im not mistaken

Haiyo sad case loh like this. I cant live without my car for a day leh.  Got brain washed by saddient to go to Serdang SC ady.  Is it the EON service centre in Glenmarie the HQ? Or could u give me the contact number for the HQ?
I go call them and see whether i can have my service done today.

Just called to enquire. They said ECU reflash have to be done in Proton Edar service centre.. EON SC or other authorised SC dont have the laptop to upload the software. Set an appointment with them on thursday morning 10am to reflash ECU, 1k lube service, change power steering assembly, tighten underchasis, check my HU. And we can bring our own lube too!!     
Anybody want to service same time together?    Can chit chat a bit cos its going to take a long long time to do all the service.

actually its good to learn what is under ur car's skin. so that you are not prone to depend on hear say and bullshits put up forward by mechs and SAs.

thats why a lot of owners got bullshitted into adding this and that to their cars and ultimately pushed up their servicing bill to pay. kena con all the time. hahahaha...

that's a good practice. oh one thing..... the one at tun jugah SC (kuching) always leave their paper floor mats in my car after handing over the keys after service. wth. i took it out many times already till i got fed up so i just take it out and throw it by their car park.

based on my experience.... persona as a Malaysian make bullcrap... its pretty good built already. If you own a MyVi before.... you will know how shitty that car's built is. Most owners i know for myvi complained the same thing over and over. Visit sc for warranty claim since 1k service for 2 years straight  (visit every 3-4 months for it) till i sold it off after almost 4 years cuz i got soo fed up with it as it felt like a 10 year old car! Steering racks x 7, disc brakes complete set x 8, automatic gearbox leak x 2 (one time was minor and second time was major as it leaked out all the ATF fluids and had to be towed).

So..... Persona's problem is nothing compared to it man. Seriously. Too minor.

I'm a prospect buyer of Proton Persona, and I'm wondering if anyone here experienced malfunctioning of their car windows? I asked this because as what I've read, one of the Proton's problem is their power window, some weird noises coming from nowhere (especially when the car hit a bump).

I kinda like the exterior design of Elegance, but the interior is kinda tacky, especially the steering wheel. Also I heard that the SC for Proton is kinda pain in the a$$

Actually I'm contemplating between Elegance and Alza hmmmm...

So the still....Proton is plague with this power window thing too bad...

ya i agree.. buying car is due to luck..  from wat i know proton do take serious consideration on the power window problem. the durability test is crazily scary to suppliers.. but well to say they still ahve the problem with the power window... perhaps we need them to show statistic
proton sells about 3000 persona a month even if 0.1 percent have problem.. whcih is remarkably acceptable for manufacturing defect.. that means 3 cars will have power window problem every month... so ya.. is all about luck.

oh ya...really if wanna claim parts i think go back proton SC better .... they will more likely have stock parts to replace immediately compared to those authorized SC ..... although is a long queue .. but at least u dont have to go back another time when the stock arrives?

@ chteh0721: I also do like Exora but my gf says it's too big for her, too bad...so i guess and hope that my luck will favor me if i decided to purchased this car  if you don't mind me asking, how old/new is your Persona?

Personally, I think every brand of cars has its own problem but I find it odd that almost every model that Proton have, has this power window problem

*not bad luck. the car is made that way with poor QC. proven by reviews in myvi.com.my forum. i was very active in there and met a lot of owners facing the same exact problems except gearbox leak which is rare.

Power windows not got problem. only have some sound wind up when u park under the sun for few hours.

hahaha I know but we will settle down next year, and by right she will somewhat drive the car more often than I am, I'm working in Singapore, also I'm not Malaysian neither Singaporean, so it's a bit complicated 

I tried 31/28psi.. But FC became quite bad.. So i pump harder.. 34/33psi.. Which so far seems ok to me. Slightly better handling too, and i dont really notice any difference in comfort.
Come come .. Thursday we go to CoSE there to service car lah.. 
Alza feels very light and kinda not stable at high speed (if it ever manages to go high speed), the view out of the back windscreen is fairly restricted too. That car go up genting will semput tengah jalan one and memang no pick up going on highway. Although it will save u some petrol, but the joy of driving is not there.. But the middle row seats are big and quite supportive also.. Comfortable for long journey.. 
Wah after get married also ady comfirm buy Proton..      Go for Veilfire lah..

But with RON95, Pump RM65 - RM70, manage to drive 380km - 400km.
