got other timings also for A64..

and intel will give less bandwidth cause A64 memory controller is on the cpu itself.. instead of having to go thru the NB

other timings are in A64 tweaker in the picture

oh yea.. FYI value vx is using Winbond BH dies now instead of CH like last time.. so less voltage needed to achieve 2-2-2-5 smile.gif

which C2 is it?

check the revision number..

1.4 = BH-6
1.5 = BH-5
4.2 = TCCD revF
4.3 = TCCD or TCC5

abang din, please update again.  smile.gif

RAM = 2x256mb Corsair XMS PC3500
chipset = Winbond BH5
Vdimm applied = 3.63v
1T or 2T = 1T
system = Athlon XP-M
CPU speed = 2516 Mhz

@ babyelf

I dont think that zt_lee's corsair pc3200c2 rev1.4 is winbond bh6 since he manage to overclock it up to 29x with 3-4-4-8. It's quite look like tccd chip more than bh6.
btw, his corsair 1gb damn cheap, right? zt_lee  laugh.gif

how long ago did he get them? it could be old modules.. cause corsair ram is not only identified thru the revision number.. but thru the batch number as well.. newer modules only use bh-6 i think..

and 3200 normal ones.. not C2.. 1.6 uses BH dies also.. singapore sim lim Sq selling them.. somebody just bought them

u have to check the revision number.. i think the ones u saw are not C2.. the C2 runs at 2.5-3-3-7 rated for amd systems and 2-3-3-7 for intel..

what board will u be looking at buying?

2x256 BH-5 performs better than 2x512mb simple because they are single sided.. it allows better overclockability..

if u can get the value vx.. get them.. they are good stuff

gsan.. my 2x512mb bh-5 will go to 270 with 3.5-3.6v

i played CSS at those speeds as well for about 30min before i get error.. so yea.. at those speeds i can bench i'm sure.. i think i can go higher.. but haven't tried it..

single sided usually goes up to 270-280 with about 3.6v for good pairs..

jslut.. 3.5v 250 is really really bad for old bh-5 already..

rzonealley.. yea new modules are hard to say.. i still prefer older modules.. my bh-5 never failed me smile.gif my value vx in the other hand is not bad as well.. altho it didn't go as high as my bh-5

gsan.. for urs it's a different case i think.. on nf2 platform it doesn't do as well as on the A64 platform..

nf2 u need to turn up the VNB to get it running higher.. i'll keep those sticks for now if i were u.. don't sell it.. i'm lucky to have gotten mine 2nd pretty cheap..

rzonealley.. yea i'm really lucky to have gotten this one.. really a nice pair i have here.. i'm sure urs will do the same smile.gif
if i can get a pair of G.Skill later on might let my bh-5 rest for a while..
