din.. those sticks look really good.. too bad i'm not there.. if not i'll test it for u.. plus i got DDR booster now
OCZ didn't tell me when they did the die change or how to tell a die change.. they just changed it.. the rated speeds does not mean that the die has changed if i'm not mistaken.. it's just that when they test the chips they realised "oh it will run at a tighter speed" and relabled them to those speeds.. if u want i can ask for information about the die change.. one very good test is to test with CAS3 and see whether it boots.. and if it doesn't then it is BH-5 i've seen 2.5-3-3-7 and 2.5-4-4-8 and they perform similar.. so no biggie there This post has been edited by babyelf: Jun 12 2005, 04:45 PM |

every module perform differently.. like the value vx i have.. i burn in so much only did 260.. my friend have one now.. he just put it in and already running 255 2-2-2-5 without much burning in..
so it's really hard to say.. but in general BH does need a bit less voltage.. for 200mhz they need less compared to CH.. that is y u see VX rate their modules at 3.2v and 3200Gold don't |

it's value vx remysix .. no point for me to bull here right? i myself need 3.6 to get to 260.. so u at 256 2-2-2-10 is very good already.. initially i only got 255 at 3.6v.. so everyone's not all that lucky like my friend at 260mhz
these are unbinned modules.. so u are not guaranteed anything.. not even 2-2-2-5 actually.. if u really want some better results there are 3 more modules other than this value vx .. 3200gold 3200vx 4000vx when u set 3.6 did u turn on enable +0.03? cause when i do to mine it'll report almost 0.1v extra as well.. don't think it's PSU.. and software readings are wrong anyway.. QUOTE(antonio_zth @ Jun 14 2005, 09:27 AM) babyelf....u n ur fren r one lucky son of a tuttttttttt....muhauhahua....unlike us which is struggling to get good results...u seem to be performing in many ways...hehehehe... don't la like that.. lucky only la.. it's BH-5 most likely..
binned 3200Gold.. i'll let u all know which chip it is using and din.. value vx different timings doesn't matter one.. it's just that if it can do better at rated volts they'll just label them at a better timings.. so i won't really worry about it that much |

to be able to bin stuffs to get PC5000 speed is not something that easy.. not many chips will do those speeds for TCC5... and it's pretty obvious that the number of those that can hit those speeds are decreasing..
but if u can afford one it's one of the best ram u can get |

very old TCCD likes volts week 435-440 or so likes low voltage after that they love volts again.. |
