I have to disagree with myself (wtf lol) for comparing Carrick with Keano, both are different type of players, but while Scholes is still on form, Carrick won't be seeing the first team anytime soon, therefore Fletcher must be versatile enough to shield the back four.

I'll be honest, Carrick is no tackler.

here's my rundown on the game,

Rooney was poor. God knows what happened to him.
Berbatov's goalscoring record continues, thumbs up to him.

1st half was fantastic, 2nd half was a DISASTER. I think a group of Manuchos is way better than the United defence in the 2nd half.

both defence and midfield just shut down, I'm just not impressed with Fletcher lately, against Rangers and Liverpool (since, well those are the two recent matches I've watched)

Evans again poor, JOS was lucky not to be sent off, but made amends by providing a cross to Berbatov. I still think JOS is good.

Nani wtf. Don't be a donkey and dive here and there (although taking advantage of the opposition's action) 2nd half was piss poor.

it's called mindgames, and Fletcher felled for it. I'm guessing he's scared that Konchesky (the one next to Fletcher) could get the goal, so he followed instinct and tries to follow him.
