but he showed glimpses of good running down that left flank..hopefully he turns out to be a true gem 

Bebe have some similarities with Valencia, plus trick, minus crossing ability I think

The Carling Cup is ours to defend now. With Chelsea and Liverpool out of the Cup, i think we are favourite to win it again this year. Though i think even with Chelsea and Liverpool still in it, we would still be strong favourites.

Back to the game, I think Thomasz did a marvelous job. Hats off to him. Thomasz to play against Valencia to tryout his skills on world stage. I admit, we might lose some points but the risk is worth it. Even if we end up second on the table, we would just beat whoever in the first pot and advance I really think Thomasz deserve his chance. close to 30 but still benched is not where he wants and he might just get tempted after seeing Ben Foster enjoying full first team football now after leaving.

Bebe was fantastic from what i seen. Just need to pull back in his crosses a bit, goes a little too high and far for strikers in the box. Though i thought it might be handy to play tricks on opponent's defend, just when they thought he overcrossed, the right winger can come in and head it back to the middle of the box. With Valencia still out, the second choice winger is really openned to Obertan and Bebe. What happened to Park, he seems out of Sir Alex's service. Not playing in league games, i think he only played against Liverpool. only can play in Carling. I think last season he played quite little also ryte? Maybe in big games but not in daily basis right?

Owen performed well. Maybe its time for Chicharito to have a tryout in the Central Forward position and see if he really surpasses Owen in the line. Macheda still need some time to recover from his injury i think.

Gibson starting to show somemore scholes attribute, box to box and ghosting into opponents box. Not so good for Anderson. Couldnt see him perform, he like dont dare to try long passes. All give Gibson one...

i think nani would be the only competition park have.and even he have different role to fill actually(though both are designated as winger).nani is more about feeding crosses and doing diagonal run while park is more of linking the CM and rooney&co,outrunning fullbacks and marking key player.and picking ball from player.besudes,i think Park has better ball control while Nani has better dribling skill

valencia,as good as he is,can only played effectively in one half of the field and giggs is more often played in the centre(though he hasn't played there this season)

even Bolton can be considered as derby as well(bolton is quite near to Manchester.and compared to Citeh bolton suppporter is more sporting)
