Now is the time Bebe should come. Game should be safe now. And There's about 15+mins left. Give him time please and not 10mins where he can't do anything.

I love seeing how Macheda control the ball. Soft feet he has.

He's been making nervy saves though. But our midfield didn't help him by not screening properly.
Bebe have looked good whenever he has the ball. He's going to burn a lot of fullbacks. |

Midfield didn't really protect the defenders. No thanks to 433 with two strikers our wide and those 3 playing in the middle(Park is better suited playing ahead of them).
Macheda, Smalling and Bebe really impressed me tonight. Hope to see more of them, especially Bebe who could really torn defenders apart. |

They wanted to cater those Newcastle fans lah. Most Newcastle fans are in their late 20's and beyond so they(plus I'm sure they're not glory hunters) would definitely watch the game since they hardly can watch their team play live. Why else would Astro show the match?

QUOTE(kikurazz @ Sep 23 2010, 10:45 AM) i won't jump on the Bebe bandwagon just as yet With that dribbling ability of his, he should have no problem against most defenders going one on one as long as he has the space to run at them. Crossing seems good. He has the skill to get past people quite easily with simple movements and by going direct. Just need to work with his positioning and movement. Kinda excited now. More please.but he showed glimpses of good running down that left flank..hopefully he turns out to be a true gem |

QUOTE(IcyDarling @ Sep 23 2010, 01:33 PM) The Carling Cup is ours to defend now. With Chelsea and Liverpool out of the Cup, i think we are favourite to win it again this year. Though i think even with Chelsea and Liverpool still in it, we would still be strong favourites. Ando was mostly playing the holding role. He made lots of long passes I thought, and he was pretty decent. Gibson was a bit poor I thought. Game pass him by somewhat. Great goal though.Back to the game, I think Thomasz did a marvelous job. Hats off to him. Thomasz to play against Valencia to tryout his skills on world stage. I admit, we might lose some points but the risk is worth it. Even if we end up second on the table, we would just beat whoever in the first pot and advance Bebe was fantastic from what i seen. Just need to pull back in his crosses a bit, goes a little too high and far for strikers in the box. Though i thought it might be handy to play tricks on opponent's defend, just when they thought he overcrossed, the right winger can come in and head it back to the middle of the box. With Valencia still out, the second choice winger is really openned to Obertan and Bebe. What happened to Park, he seems out of Sir Alex's service. Not playing in league games, i think he only played against Liverpool. only can play in Carling. I think last season he played quite little also ryte? Maybe in big games but not in daily basis right? Owen performed well. Maybe its time for Chicharito to have a tryout in the Central Forward position and see if he really surpasses Owen in the line. Macheda still need some time to recover from his injury i think. Gibson starting to show somemore scholes attribute, box to box and ghosting into opponents box. Not so good for Anderson. Couldnt see him perform, he like dont dare to try long passes. All give Gibson one... Added on September 23, 2010, 7:52 pm QUOTE(ayanami_tard @ Sep 23 2010, 04:51 PM) i think nani would be the only competition park have.and even he have different role to fill actually(though both are designated as winger).nani is more about feeding crosses and doing diagonal run while park is more of linking the CM and rooney&co,outrunning fullbacks and marking key player.and picking ball from player.besudes,i think Park has better ball control while Nani has better dribling skill Giggs is still a good winger. He will play there if we need him there especially if we play with two strikers and have good CMs playing. He can't play every game and his form might not be great all the time, but if we need something extra, we would look to him. Right now first choice would be Valencia and Nani IMO. Nani with the unpredictability and Valencia with a tried and trusted method. But Park will come to the rescue in the big games. He somehow come alive then.valencia,as good as he is,can only played effectively in one half of the field and giggs is more often played in the centre(though he hasn't played there this season) .... i'd love to see Manchester UnitedxBolton though.it's the battle of Senpai vs Kouhai(ParkxLee) even Bolton can be considered as derby as well(bolton is quite near to Manchester.and compared to Citeh bolton suppporter is more sporting) This post has been edited by Wan: Sep 23 2010, 07:52 PM |

Interesting that. But I bet we scout a few other young good GKs as well.
Obertan, Eikrem and C.Evans played for the reserves last night. Bebe wasn't even on the bench. Bolton perhaps? |
