Not all want to stay in hostel my friend. Budget yet adventure trip. Able to see loads of small town along the way which you will never think of going to. I guess she is doing her expedition half way. I can say that you will need courage on that.

Coz I will be hitch hiking in europe and not knowing where I would arrive after long hours on the road.

I once camping at the side of the road (not visible to others) from Phnom Penh to Ho chi minh

haha.. luckily i didn't book the flight yet.. yes with the current situation with the volcano, might not be able to go this year sad.gif

Give a call to their ranger office and ask about the status if you are still keen.

If the status drop to level 2, you can hike the volcano but not able to near the crater. Level 3 and 4 confirmed out.

Hike those easy volcano like Batur, and Bromo biggrin.gif

hi. anyone keen to trek at Nepal? The date is fixed at 8-19 May, with itinerary as following:

Day 1: Arrival in Kathamndu, we will come to pick up you at the airport and transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Sight-seeing of Kathmandu: pashupatinath (UNESCO), Boudhanath, Shyambhunath, Patan City
Day 3: Early morning drive to Pokhara by tourist bus overnight stay at hotel
Day 4: Fly to Jomsom (2710m) trek to Kagbeni (2800m) and overnight stay at teahouse lodge.
Day 5: Kagbeni (2800m) trek to Muktinath (3800m) and overnight stay at Eklobhatti teahouse lodge.
Day 6: Muktinath (3800m) trek to Marpha (2670m)/Tukuche (2590m) and overnight stay at teahouse lodge.
Day 7: Marpha (2670m) / Tukuche (2590m) trek to Kalopani and overnight stay at teahouse lodge.
Day 8: Kalopani we trek down to Tatopani to enjoy the hot spring there.
Day 9: Tatopani we trek to Ghorepani, near Poon hill. Stay in Ghorepani
Day 10: Early morning sunrise and mountain view from poon hill, later trek to Pokhara stay overnight in Pokhara.
