Did some reading on Iceland, and it seems that travelling in a small group would be a good idea.
I'm keen on travelling to Iceland in the month of October or early November - do drop me a note if anyone is keen. This post has been edited by Billion Gates: Aug 3 2016, 10:02 AM |

Do you intend to drive with a small group?I'm keen on travelling to Iceland in the month of October or early November - do drop me a note if anyone is keen. If not, you can always do day tours from Reykjavik. Choose one that do tours in small group. Pick up and drop off from hotel. It's very convenient. |

Always up for an Icelandic backpacking adventure but money problem. It's quite expensive isn't it?I'm keen on travelling to Iceland in the month of October or early November - do drop me a note if anyone is keen. |

If you intend to drive, please read up on their driving guide.Day tours would be the alternative, as I'd prefer to travel at my own pace (especially so for Iceland) and not bound by the tour operator/guide's schedule. Not all roads are paved and conditions there are very different compared to UK or other EU countries. I had private tours with a driver guide on 2 tours (winter & summer) and have encountered white-out and dust storm. *Have also heard of cars being completely stripped off their paint work after a really bad sand storm. This can't be covered by insurance. As for day tours, use those catering for small groups. You get to relax and enjoy the views. Their timing is very good, always ahead of bus groups. Hope you get to enjoy Iceland irrespective of your travel style. It's one of the most awesome country in terms of raw beauty. |

Has anyone tried travelling more than 1 month to Indonesia?
I know we have a 30 days free VISA but after that how much is the VISA? I have 31 days in Indonesia. My recent trip there I heard that you could extend an additional 7 days from your VISA but I am not sure if it is applicable to us. |
