Going China, example west lake, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Suzhou etc, you don't really need travel buddy or companions, the china public transportation is very convenience if you are able to Chinese, the travel cost can be very low and it depends type of transportation your choice, also there are many good accommodation and very good deal for single traveler.
