huhuhu epiphones pn kena fake...they should implement registering guitar serial online like anti virus

fake factory dun bother to hav a qc dept.. their cosmetics defects can be easily noticeable..

sometime, if u lucky u can see same serial on 2 guitars at the display..

these plague is serious.. old days, pirated cd had killed so many talented artist.. now come this new plague..

from the sound u cannot be sure, bcos i'd seen low end series gtrs dat installed with a high end pups in it.. so the sound (basically) sometime can be better..

Added on August 28, 2010, 3:13 amsaw a long time discontinued model but the gtr built after the year they stop the model (fr the serial).. so obvious lah..

This is the thing that avoiding me from purchasing a guitar online even if its cheap compare to any retail shop.. Must always try the guitar that we want to buy,it's the safest way

but the prob is, retail shop dat sell fake is everywhere.. online buying is usually within us only (internet user)..

usually it's affects, parents who buy their child gtr, but it were fake.. plus a beginner which dunno nothing about fakes.. wut they knew is they got discounts n get it cheaper.. not realizing it were fake

if sound is ok, yup its the build up, there's a significant diff

agree..custom guitars always have their own fan, back then yamaha pacifica body + fender neck + (mid-end/high-end) pickup = 90s studio guitar

i dunno how to tell the difference between fake fenders or fake ibanez.
but fake gibsons, apart from how they look...i can tell just by strumming them unplugged

yepp....d way d wood resonate 2 d sound of d string can tell easily whether its ori or fake....

fake ibanez oso can b detected easily.their hardware is awful.nt 2 mntion d sound.d most famous ibanez being faked is d jem7v.rg oso alot

as i said,fake ibanez looks damn awful.terribly made.

bginners are adviced 2 make lots n lots of rsearch b4 buying guitar.dont b fooled b d cheap price.bring along experts 2 test d guitar out b4 buying.

squier also have fake one? how to tell?

i;ve tried playing a friend's LP masterpiece fake - sounds interestingly well i must say. sure as hell beats spending a bomb for the real thing.

Now every one can turn to Cort Guitars lerr..Confirm no fake. No one even bother to make fake Cort Guitars. But surprisingly Squier also got fakes??? So the price is going to be like what? RM60 or RM80 per piece? When is there going to be fake SX?

Squier fakes? Haven't heard of this before.

since when they started making fake squiers? haven't seen a fake epiphone other than zakk wlyde's signature model.
