what color are you? ...blackie...will skin it later...
ordered online...about a week to arrive...walked whole of lowyat and imbi and others...cannot find at the time...maybe too new...
pageup and pagedown now using multi touch...so much easier...
it is "laptopable"...if there is such a word...not too hot...but difficult to read because of the limited opening angle of the lcd...also very narrow viewing angle for optimal viewing...
having said that...thinking of getting another unit...hehehe...

Hello!
I'm new and sorry for my english, i'm french!
Pikacu, I would like to know how did you manage to undervolt your dell? I just got mine today and i was wondering because of the noise if it was a good choice to undervolt it. I try to use RightMark Cpu Clock utility but i don't have any advance options and it seems that's it's block.
Thank you!

I manage (thank to your link) to undervolt it but even if the temperature decrease of 5°c, it has no effect on the fan speed. I8kfan is too old to work on this laptop nop?

Remember that newer gen Intel GMA HD performance is directly tied to CPU speed. Those benchmark number is for Core i7's GMA HD iirc.

Talking about the design, Acer AO721 looks much much better than Dell's. Slimmer and sexier. Talking about built quality, Acer AO721 has the similar built quality as you can find in current TimelineX.

i find this dell build quality better than similar asus and acer options...
its very stiff...so less flex...and hence i hope better/longer reliability...

Dell generally has better build quality but always bulky. Probably due to their BTO nature.
