couldn't believe hsbc is still implementing TAC generated by device, expensive and not practical imo
*
It's costly but more secure. It's a unique physical token.

my frenz lost the device and hsbc asked rm50 for replacement, end-up he stop liaise with them switched to public bank.  i think their management should really look into this as got many careless users in this world sweat.gif
*
That's true and that's why you need to take good care of it since they give the first one for FOC.

QUOTE(Dannyl @ Feb 15 2007, 02:01 PM)
The point is, you can do banking online even when the bank is closed smile.gif
So what kind of extra security feature does Public Bank has?
*
The extra security is similar to Maybank2u or CIMBClicks TAC. The only difference on PBebank PAC is the requested TAC is only valid for that particular login (into Internet Banking) session.

im using Bank Islam and BCB. Bank Islam is good but not really many people using online banking with it. there is some good about this bank islam internet banking. when doing interbanking(transfer to other bank), u have will be charge RM0.50 per transaction for 2 times in a month. after that RM2.00 will be charge. other bank i think if not mistaken just charge RM2.00 per transaction when using interbanking.
*
I think some banks gives you free for the first 2 transactions. Other banks like Alliance Bank charges you RM 1 per every transaction.

Like that PAC more secure than TAC.
*
Practically YES since you need to re-request your PAC if you accidentally disconnected (for bad dialup) or logged off from the site.
