still no news on the amd BD?

herm... i just found something very funny.
i've been monitor this thread always, but non represents AMD official to tell when was the launch date.

All the info was based on the "Rumour" ? i perhaps?
I spoked with AMD malaysia at march, by that time he already said BD will release EARLIEST August.

Thank god AMD are just in time.. I was planning on a 1155 Sandy end of this month. Was actually upset these few days when Intel got so much to offer than AMD but now.. YAY~!!! Please come to papa BULLDOZER!!!

what benefit the "flex floating point" will bring for a processor? does it improve core performance, thus will benefit us in gaming, encoding videos etc? anyone care to explain?

Are any reviews on the performance of Llano up on the web? Extensive reviews?

I heard it's released, but can't seem to find the extensive reviews you'd normally expect from those hardware sites.

I'd like to compare Llano and SB.

Llano's Hybrid Crossfire on a laptop is also interesting to look forward to. 

So I did a little bit of reading, and from what I gather, Llano will practically be a 32nm Deneb core fused together with ATI graphics.

i unlocked the cores with my previous board but performance increase was lukewarm (even with 8gb ddr2)

Completing 1M Super PI in 1.29 second is amazingly fast. I doubt that is correct.

lol too many rumor right now. AMD announced before the proc will come out in 60-90 day in june (so the worst case we will see the proc in public around september) right now some rumor suggest the launch is puch back to october:

maybe can stand for 2yrs,seems its 8core. nowadays also we can't even use all 6core for gaming,juz quad core only. more than quadcore used for graphics designing like rendering.

well, currently i'm looking at asus's m5a series mobo. still waiting for more models to come

AMD FX-8150P = USD269
USD269 = RM795

The price doesn't even matter if the chip can't perform as good as, if not better than, intel's offering. Another question is the longevity of the AM3+ socket. Nobody is going to try saving money going AMD if the socket was to be discontinued in 6 months while 1155 would carry forward to IB.

Same like 1090T when it first came out....less than RM1k

Well, numbers of cores do matter anyways.. Even if it can win i7 2600k in terms of simulation etc, per core performance, it MIGHT not be able to win sb..
But I really hope it will be able to win even for per core performance
Then it will be the king of cpu for at least until intel shows what will come out from ivy bridge..
