try set it to min.as for me i'll pause the video until it complete its buffering.or if u want u can use MKV2VOB software to convert .mkv file to MPEG which can be read on ps3.it also support DTS conversion.you can dload it HERE

last time when my 40GB got YLOD while playing,my disc also stuck inside.but i manage to eject it by switch on the back button while pressing the eject button.
