now, why he spend 5 min proving that n8 got fm transmitter? such function exist since like what? w980? even try too convince us that he wasn't lying! i was like dude! even rm299 china phone also got fm transmitter, those usb ones are as cheap as rm19!! it is a nice function n a wow factor , back in 2004? lol

n then quickly spend a few last minutes on others fuctions that really matters! anyhoo, nice-ish review lah ..

btw, the n8 hes holding got both front n back plastic covering like those new retail version.

N8 video recording no AutoFocus? I see sample videos all out of focus one?

The N8 uses a system we refer to as ‘Active Hyper-focal Distance’. Hyper-focal distance is a specific lens focus position which by using depth of field allows the greatest range from near to infinity for objects to appear in focus. The Nokia N8 uses a 28mm (35mm film equivalent) focal length Carl Zeiss lens. This provides us with huge depth of field. But by using the hyper focal distance means objects placed between roughly 60cm and infinity will appear sharply focused.

I've been told that N8 will arrive b4 or after raya.

I really have to raise white flag. I thought was impossible. However, I die die also must bring my thumbdrive to Ranger programme and test kao kao why N8 can play HD while my Legend can't. Same CPU but different 80MHz nia. Some more mine with more RAM. This one I don't investigate also cannot die peacefully.

Did the GPU really play the big role? I'm asking because even my HD4850 1GB can't play Full HD smoothly. I'm suspecting some sort of trick with the conversion format. Actually today I played around the conversion format. By default, some formats are hardware accelerated. That is why gua want to bring my own video to test. Even with AVI or WMV, you can choose the video format which are being accelerated instead of those which rely on CPU alone. I tested just one format today. HD rmvb totally unplayable but after converting to MP4 still can accept although a bit laggy. Next gonna try VC.
