That's quite low compared to what I perceive from various uni website which state that generally 6500~9000 pound should be the 39-week living cost.
Abt the 9 months period you stated, what happens to all your belonging during the 3-month gap ( which I assume to be summer break ), do you need to find extra storage for it outside the contract period? I know this ques sounds dumb but just wondering.

Two unis I'm looking at are LSE n UCL which happen to not just be in london but central london  I guess they would be out of my budget then.

Do many students stay thrifty and really spent that little during their studies in UK ? Cuz I don't see myself working part time there/ trying to cut corners at entertainment etc. but rather to enjoy the time studying there.

I dont know yet..i apply a lot university..with good result i being accepted in all uni i applied..i consider aust and uk now..i intend to migrate..plus i hate cold..i might consider aust first..i dont like uk..why ppl want to study there??the place feel gloomy..i never go to all place in uk yet..but other than london..i dont really like uk..how much apartment with 2 bedroom?!can i get 300 pound per week in london??

Just got a conditional offer in my UCAS from University of Manchester. I was hoping to study Chemical Engineering there, but the requirements are AAA including Math.

But my results that were released awhile back is AABB (B [78] for Math). Can I and should I attempt to apply anyways?

Hey guys, besides A-Levels/STPM/IB. Does most unis in UK support diplomas? I'm planning to do Mechanical Eng. in the UK.

My worries are:
1) Can a diploma certificate help me attend a uni in the UK?
2) How do I know if the diploma certificate is accredited? Are all diploma certificates in this world the same?
3) If I'm going to do my degree abroad, is it possible for me to apply to the Board of Engineers Malaysia?

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Well I can't answer that ques. because I don't really know what institution that have a diploma certificate that could help me study in the UK. Is there any private unis that have a such diploma?
