For instance if I hope to secure a scholarship with an unconditional offer from Imperial College but it is definitely not my first choice. So should I put it as my firm in this case?

Basically, which area to stay. Looking at my budget, I would consider Zone 2 to Zone 4, with traveling time to UCL less than 30mins.

The cheapest flat suitable for a couple and a baby (family flat) at International Hall is £40.00 per night. I don't think i can afford that.

the letter of reference from the bank to whom the letter should be address too. VFS of British immigration?

Yes, and do make sure they are of good quality and not blurry! I did mine at Sunway Hospital together with my blood test. Paid good money for it too. They were not happy with mine because there was a 'cloud' on the image and they suspected TB! I had to retake my chest x-ray when I arrived at Cardiff. Did it in an old dilapidated infirmary not even fit for purpose! Their x-ray equipment must be like a hundred years old. I wasn't happy because I was exposed twice to radiation in less than a week. The Doctor said it was fine but still. The second x-ray thankfully was ok. The x-ray in Cardiff was free btw.
