Thanks for your explanation with clarity biggrin.gif I guess I will have to do the same thing while I'm at the VFS. Nonetheless I shall give them a call just in case other forumers encounter the same problem.

I was worried like you as well! I know how it feels like! I searched all over Google for answers and I found plenty of people doing different kind of mistakes. You can try it out yourself. Just Google (Mistakes on UK Visa Application). I think minor mistakes like that shouldn't be a problem unless you chose the wrong Visa category and wrong calculations in your financial supporting part.

he's been on this forum doing research for so many months.
in that time many of us have completed our 1st and 2nd year degree.

tin kosong is really tin kosong.

I literally LMAO on this. I did some researches on this thread when I first got here. I see him posting the same thing all over and over again for years. doh.gif

QUOTE(darkdudepers @ Aug 22 2014, 11:21 AM)
Formal attire isn't necessary.

'Interview' is the same day and time, after they collect payment etc. It's barely even an interview, more like confirming some details and some casual questions.
*
I just got back from VFS recently. True that it's barely an interview. They just asked for your name & DOB and that's it.

they didnt state it will be an interview tho. they posted "biometric data collection" and "document smth smth". thats all. why did u all think that there would be an interview? O.O i wore formal btw, and i was like the only one. laugh.gif

It's stated on the website.

"Tier 4 applicant interviews

If you are applying for a Tier 4 student visa, you may be required to sit a short interview when you attend the visa application centre to submit your application and biometric information. The interview will focus on your reasons for coming to the UK and is known as a credibility interview. An entry clearance officer will consider this interview alongside your visa application and supporting documents. You may be called for a further interview if the visa officer needs more information."

Yeah! Avoid if you can, as the queue will last at least 2 hours in Heathrow!

Got the mail this morning.

"Your visa will be despatched shortly. Passports can normally be collected from the Visa Application Centre after 3 days depending on which country you applied from or will be couriered back to you only if you have availed of this service. UKVI"

Does that mean my visa will be ready within 3 working days>?

Note: referred. Got my answer.

Tianqi is right. But do note that's they're closed on certain days. I forgot which. My collection hours were hand-written on my receipt by the biometrics lady and I threw it away already =/

Thanks for the reply! Got my Visa today rclxms.gif

Hi guys,

Just to clarify something here. I've seen people saying that UK is quite strict on copyrights.

Example: If you're using Pirated Microsoft products, printing shop will most like to reject the printing job. Is it true?

wanna confirm something

call me paranoid, but just wanna make sure once you've received email that your visa is dispatched and ready to collect, it usually means your application is successful right ? from what i heard rejection cases for UK visa application is kinda rare... unlike US.. correct ?
*
Nope. Dispatched doesn't mean it's approved. You'll only find out when you unwrap the parcel.
