I wanna know if i can push my core 2 duo e6320 1.86ghz to 3.7ghz or above

This is my spec :

Intel Core 2 Duo 1.86GHz ( Overclocked to 2.86Ghz ) 400fsb limit 700fsb
4GB DDR2 RAM
Cooler Master USP 100
450 Aztech PSU
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus
ATI HD5450 1GB DDR3
MSI G31TM-P31

I am able to push my overclock to 2.86GHz right now with the graphic card also get overclocked using the 450W PSU ..
My cpu temp is 25 degree celsius and my gpu is 36 degree celsius .... my room temp is about 26 degree celsius ( without air conditioner )

So right now i wonder if i buy a 600W PSU ,Can i overclock above 3.7Ghz ?

And also ,

How to make gpu and cpu more cooler ? , i can't afford to buy stuff above rm200 .... so right now , i'm keep pushing using this pc until i get money and buy new pc .....

If you guys have any idea on modding my pc component ,kindly give a suggestion ....

okay .... my idle temp is 24 degree celsius when load at 32 degree celsius ..... and i just bought 600W psu .... and trying to overclock ...fail set at 410 fsb .... what happen ?

about the gpu , i wanna buy a new one ... can give me a suggestion ?

-I check my temp trough Speedfan,bios ,and other software .. my cpu won't go above 35 degree celsius because of too many cooling in pc .... (not liquid cooling )

-I have Tatu TronMonxter Ultimate Power 600W PSU ( http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.2...32671578&type=1 )< this is not my fb ...

-My last ram speed is about 963 MHz ...( the stable ) ratio is 1.1:20...

-What did i mean by " 1GB DDR3 is the graphic card ..".... I want to buy a new one .... can you suggest it to me ? I can't afford to buy above RM220 as I always lack of money .. What is in my target is the XFX HD5670 512 DDR5 128 bit ... and i can't go to lowyat ...


Graphic card spec that i want ....

-Have pcie graphic power connector
-1gb for the ddr3 or 512mb ddr5
-price lower than RM220
-Have fan cooling .... ( or passive cooling without fan )
-GPU clock ,memory clock ,shader clock is higher .. ( at least can run bf3 or modern warfare 3 on high resolution )
-can overclock better ...

Yeah I think my PSU is not running on true power ....

But as you can see on other websites , my cpu can reach on 3.4Ghz .... darn it .. i should bookmark the forum page for proof ..
Mine mobo does'nt have those vcore and vdimm setting ,really sucks ... going i5 i think or AMD

What is the 5750 or 5770 price ? you can suggest me the Nvidia card too ....

Does GT520 okay ? can it overclock better ? or there is any better card than gt 520

Where do you live ? I might can help you ... I think in my calculation yours can go about 3.1 - 3.4 GHz ( My estimation )

Gimme ur motherboard spec , processor spec ,gpu spec ,ram spec , what cooling you use ,power supply power ,anything la .... janji aku phm ....

I'm not expert in overclocking .... i'm just a basic overclockers ... but i will try to help you to increase the performance.....


with me , no voltage increasing i will use .... so i use the safe way overclocking .....

try to lower a bit .... i think too much power consumption till it can't read the hdd ....like mine ..... can't get into the windows ..... get a new true power psu ????? maybe u should ask the pro why nobody except are replying ?

hmmm...... it is hard for me to explain ..... try to google it on the internet ... search for people that have almost same spec with you ....... sometimes it would help ....... sometimes it occur because of cooling ....

same like me arr...... psu tak bg sama rata voltage .... ram panas yg menyebabkan limitation of oc ......... suhu ape2 la .... yg menyebabkan panas ......... dok dlm aircond ke ? klau bleh try set ke 1:1 atau try high kan sket ratio yg dram timing tu .....
