Can someone tell me what is happening to the 1st post? I'm sure the codings are correct, it shows out OK when I preview the post. After submitting it, parts of the last entry seems to get deleted.

QUOTE(daniel_lyw @ Apr 25 2008, 05:43 PM) wow...how is the results man... u running at 3.4? how much volt u running? btw how much u buy ah? I'm using 1.285v in BIOS selection(wanna try lower voltage, but not now ), has around 0.021v of vdrop and 0.015v of vdroop. CPUZ reads 1.264v~1.256. I bought for RM590 from Robyncom. Left around 1~2 units. This post has been edited by Silverfire: Apr 25 2008, 08:04 PM

Never tried, I lazy to clear CMOS with jumper everytime if setting goes wrong Added on April 25, 2008, 9:45 pmQUOTE(Silverfire @ Apr 25 2008, 08:00 PM) I'm using 1.285v in BIOS selection(wanna try lower voltage, but not now ), has around 0.021v of vdrop and 0.015v of vdroop. So I increased to 1.3025v 426*8. 1.2900 should've been enough, but no such setting This post has been edited by Silverfire: Apr 25 2008, 09:45 PM

QUOTE(SkywalkerxX @ Apr 26 2008, 12:25 AM) fuhhh...my money saved from buying unneeded high watt psu for C2Q..thx silvefire.. Last time I calculate before... How much power needed for average motherboard like P35, overclocked Q6600 and 2GB overclocked RAMs excluding overclocked graphics... Requires a constant of 400W only.

QUOTE(clawhammer @ Apr 26 2008, 01:13 AM) For a mobo, quad, 8800GT, 2 HDD's and some fans, you don't even need 610W. If you're tight on budget, get the Gigabyte Odin 550W or Silverstone ST56F. Yeap, yeap, even pure 450W is enough I just calculated this specs with this website: Single socket high-end desktop motherboard Q6600 G0 3.2ghz 1.4v 2 SATA 7200rpm HDD 2 120mm Fan 8800GT 512mb 2 sticks DDR2 RAMs Requires only 356W. QUOTE(clawhammer @ Apr 26 2008, 01:38 AM) I'm using Odin 550W and I have approximately 10 fans plus 8800GT, water cooling pump, etc. It's a good buy since it's modular with sleeved cables 10 fans Must be noisy?

QUOTE(§layerXT @ Apr 27 2008, 10:43 AM) Actually both ST56F and Odin 550 perform on par with ST56F got 2 12v rail while Odin 4 12v rail. Currently ST56F priced as low as RM320 while Odin 550 as low as RM370. Then ST56F would perform better since its only 2 12v rail and considering its cheaper price at the same time.

QUOTE(clawhammer @ Apr 27 2008, 03:16 PM) Actually there's no such thing as very high flow fan but still silent All those high performance fans are noisy so that is why we need a fan controller/rheobus. Some fans like Vizo Freezer has internal controller
