i put on my siggy bcuz i had played with it for a while the other day if im not wrong its 3.6ghz @ 1.36v(not sure) and load temp at around 55C... that proc is sold to my friend according to him its recomended not to push beyond 3.6ghz(8x400) as the voltage may cause degration like my old e8400 doh.gif... hes helping to get me another one tomorrow hope got stock... and after 24hours of burn in for the proc @stock then its testing time.. rclxms.gif

whoops my bad calculations.... 8x450.... btw FYI.... q9450 needs lower vcore to oc... and q6600 need more... BUT <- Note.... Its not voltage tolerant... as you can see there are alot of case of CPU degration over short period of overvolting... u have to take into account their VID... 65nm VID is higher than 45nm... therefore much more voltage tolerant... pumping 1.7v in ur 45nm proc = pumping 2.1v equivalent to the 65nm proc...

quaddy very hot la... don't think can reach 4ghz... somemore fsb wall quite low and the voltage for that speed need to be high... from q6600 to q9450 there is a overall 10-20% increase in performance due to the large system cache...

Added on April 7, 2008, 11:01 amshit... bad news... q9450 out of stock in malaysia... have to wait for a while... dang...

heh ... 4ghz daily on e8400 is okay la... with C1E and EIST enabled won't be that bad...

btw.. running very tight timings is bad for ur RAMs... can die faster if run for a long period...

@rahxephon
just don't exceed 1.36v of vcore of 24/7 settings... recomended...

degration often happens on 45nm procs... not on 65nm... 1.522v on 65nm procs is like 1.41v on 45nm procs...
