the new steppings apparently have a better thermal sensor however i think the problem will still be there because some people are reporting really low temps that doesnt even make sense haha

QUOTE(Alienwarez @ Sep 11 2008, 05:08 PM) can u explain, which situation dont need 1:1....i'm still learning to oc...newbie here.hope otai like u can explain.. he just means that sometimes, 1:1 isnt the way to go.like lets say your rams arent that good, you need something to bump it up. or if you wanna run your rams at a higher speed, but you want your fsb to be lower. |

QUOTE(etsuko @ Dec 30 2008, 10:53 PM) I've a feeling my gfx card is dying and it's preventing my E6300 from pushing forth - again. i doubt the slow death oh the gfx is anything to do with what you can clock at the moment.Previously, I managed to get 2.8Ghz on stock but all of a sudden now whenever I try pushing the FSB back to 400 with 2.0 multi, it gives me 1.60 (267x6/7). Or, does anyone else have a method around it? its somehow unrelated |
