I no have M9 here. can't try for the recording.
i flash into M7 so far ok. but no have auto download subtitle feature

My EAGET M7 is using firmware update 17/7/2011 and sometime has problem as follow:
1- display of LCD auto shutdown (not display protect) and M7 still working (I still listen music) but remote can't control, can't shutdown M7 by remote also, shutdown by off power only.

2- when i browse folder, display of LCD auto shutdown, and can't use remote, I have to restart M7 by on/off power.

Please help me to solve this problem.

Been searching through the this thread but can't seem to find much info on M6 since it's out of production.

For M6, which firmware is recommended?
- V4.12 Final
- Version 1.1.1R004 Updated 17/7/2011

Any issues with either one?

Just to confirm, i just need to copy the *.img file into thumbdrive (fat format) and run it with the player?

yes copy .img to thumbdrive then go to setup> system upgrade there. i cant remember. u try to seek for the upgrade option there

sorry we cannot help you claim. we only can claim for our Malaysia customers. there is serial number on the player, because the warranty for Malaysia users is 3 years.

Seems version 1.1.1R004 is latest so why is 4.12 more recommendable? any new features? My current firmware for M6 does not have HDP, or is it all M6 does not support HDP?

HDP pls do donload the DIY.rar which i put at thread.

4.12 stable. 1.1.1R004 i think come with Autodownload Subtitle.

My M9 can not play Youtube (use of the newest firmware).
but M10 with the newest firmware can (The older version of M10 also can not play Youtube).
Pls. Askl the developer to fix the firmware.
The problem has happen on a lot of other branch of HD player before. But after the newest firmware has update, it's can play.
