ive download the 258 ver.is there any problem if i just install the latest one without uninstall the stock driver? or there are another thing to be done 1st?

hmm~~~ i think shouldnt be a problem ~~ just be safe, uninstall first only install so that the old file wont cause system unstable~~ biggrin.gif

uninstall first... restart, then install new driver. pls do the same for any other driver

kinda tight, as its for 13" macbook originally lol..

sigh i easyflashed my u45jc to bios 207 and it bricked it
pretty sure it was the only driver available for it so duno wat went wrong.
batt full charge, plugged in, screen was 100% complete after flashing and then said shutting down in 2 sec

i flashed mine from 206 to 207, thn back to 206, thn back to 207, n last to 208...

so far so good for my u35jc smile.gif

whn u flashed ur bios, the notebook will restart.. it will power on twice thn can go back to normal for my notebook smile.gif

completetly cannot boot up, even charger into laptop doesn make the LED light blink
brought it over to digital mall near workplace, they cannot troubleshoot nor help reflashbios via nother pc
will bring to asus center lowyat tomorrow, very urgent as i have a tender document to complete
very strange, duno wat i did wrong as i did everything correct, and there isnt any chance it was wrong bios unless asus fuked itup on the downloadsite

If really urgent, can take out the hdd out and plug it to pc directly or use external casing and take out your document...

After purchase asus laptop,did the warranty automatic started by the day u purchase or must i go go asus website to register for by product for the warranty?

recommend don flash u45jc bios 207 atm if u don wanna end up bricking it
update: according to notebookreviews.com ASUS Easyflash can brick ur laptop as they hav recorded several accounts, funny ASUS did not state this
also there hav been other cases of the u45jc bricked from easyflashing
