problem solve.. i just remove the old ovi suite with the new one... but sometimes on the notifications area seems like the usb unplug itself...it did not interupt any installation process btw..kinda wierd hmm.gif

I was copying a folder with pictures to the phone. And then i realised that I copied to the phone memory instead of the memcard.

So I try to delete it. The pictures were deleted but the folder cannot be removed. It say that I dont have the permission to do it.

I also noticed another folder being created inside that picture folder. the name is _PAlbTn. I cannot remove it also.

I tried from the file manager of the phone also cannot...

my C6 restarts occasionally,
the green n red call button lights up 24/7,
sometimes when u power off cannot power it on, have to try many many times,
n went to NCC, said probably motherboard spoil, have to change sweat.gif

Phoenix Service Suite Dead Phone USB Flashing
(This is the FINAL recovery method without "BOX", since Phoenix is official Nokia's service suite)


This method should be used in the following cases:
- The phone to be flashed is not responding any more (e.g. The phone completely dead / Doesn't switch ON).
- The phone to be flashed starts but contains MCU SW version older than version 3.65.

Important: In this case, be aware that all the user settings will be lost during the flashing. When flashing a phone that kind of phone, do not switch on the phone before the flashing starts.

1. Setting up the connection
- To allow the flashing of a dead phone, the used connection must be set to ‘NO CONNECTION’.
- To do this, go to File -> Manage Connection In the window ‘Manage Connection’, highlight the ‘NO CONNECTIONS’ bar and set it at the first place of the priority list.
- Press ‘Apply’ button and then close the ‘Manage Connection’ window.

2. Setting the product name
- Open the product ‘RM-78’ using the menu File -> Open Product

3. Flashing the phone to perform the flashing, proceed as follows
- Choose menu ‘Flashing -> Firmware update’.
- Activate button ‘Dead Phone USB flashing’.
- Choose the variant to be flashed, press ‘Start’ button and the flashing starts.
- After a few seconds the message ‘CMT -> Waiting USB device (1 of 30). Press phone’s power button’ appears.
- Press the phone’s power button. The flashing will be performed.


When the recovery process is fine, then carry out firmware update:

1. Setting up the connection
- To allow the flashing of a dead phone, the used connection must be set to ‘USB’.
- To do this, go to: File -> Manage Connection. In the window ‘Manage Connection’, highlight the ‘USB’ bar and set it at the first place on the priority list.
- Press ‘Apply’ button and then close the ‘Manage Connection’ window.

2. Scan the product and start the flashing
- Unplug the USB cable, if it has been plugged in before
- Power on the phone with the USB cable unplugged
- Plug the USB cable
- Scan the product by using Crtl-R key combination or going to ‘File -> Scan Product’
- After successful scanning of the product, go to ‘Flashing -> Firmware Update’
- Choose between ‘Restore User Product’ or ‘Phone As Manufactured / Refurbish’ and press ‘Start’ button

After a couple of seconds the message ‘Mode change’ appears on the ‘Firmware Update’ window. In the meanwhile, the message ‘Start up phone without SIM card?’ appears on the mobile phone’s display. On the mobile phone side, press on the ‘Accept’ button to confirm the phone’s start. The flashing goes on. After a while the flashing is finished.

I saw some website provide the tips on how to get free internet using maxis or hotlink line.I've tried it and it's work.

But i found tat my garmin gps got no signal at all after that.

I've revert back all the setting but same thing still happen.

Anyone facing the same problem with me?

got a problem with my phone..
when ever i charge my phone..
i will get hot ..
and after i charge up to 2 hrs ..
the battery level is still 2 bars..sometimes 1 bar only..

i went to shop asking them why..
they said it might have a prob with either the battery itself or the ic..
what do u guys think??

Hey TS , I downloaded the AIOPlus which is 5kb right ? And I tried to install it but it comes out with Certificate error. Contact the application supplier. so I used the method taught in http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...&#entry37554917 .. Now I got Unable to install a protected application from an untrusted supplier. .. What can I do now den ?

The CFW given is like of custom ROM like the one in rooted android ?

CFW is a custom ROM..yes. biggrin.gif And the best part is we 5800/X6 users are using CFW based on the good C6's FW... happy.gif

im using sign4ever.exe to sign both AIOP and mute camera but am having problem here. I am able to sign both of them but when it comes to installation, I cant install them because of 'protected content'. any solution to this? i just need to get rid of the annoying camera sound. :/

Mean to ask, stock earphone is not having a good sound at all. What kind of earphone would be recommended for mp3 listeners?(that's compatible with C6 of course.)
