Yes, smart phone's battery life is not lasting compare to those are not smartphone, and it also getting worse when it has a bigger screen, its application running -- resulting it cannot last until night.

With the similar usage of HTC Desire compare to other smartphone (eg. iPhone..etc), I am wondering why many people and the resellers also give comment that HTC phones have very poor standby/talktime, battery is not lasting...etc. is it true? how poor is it ?

I do not really like to play games on phone, but I would use a lot on MSN or YM, internet browing, emailing and twittering. I like touchscreen (multitouch), Android, so, is it suitable for me.
