my love for france is beggining to fade away or should i say faded away

since france the WC at 98, i started supporting them....since then everytime i support france, ive been at the losing end, sibeh sad case
with the players retaliation, etc etc...i see also doh.gif
i jump ship to Oranje now, i supported Oranje this wc,but also at the losing side again...sleep.gif

i remember the very first country that caught my attention:

Czech Republic! was it euro 96, not sure
Germany
Brazil (the on thing back then, but quit supporting them because to many supporters d, like how i i jump from MU to Arsenal now)
France
Holland (i guess majority of Arsenal fan's support Holland)

i wonder why japanese player always snub lucrative EPL(even club like stoke got salary cap of 90000 quid/week) and opt for playing in a more mediocre league in italy and netherlands.korean player more than happy to play in EPL

more importantly,where does the jap lad.up front?midfield?
QUOTE(sickx @ Sep 3 2010, 01:10 PM)
coincidentally,i have a japanese guy named ryohei-something in my fm arsenal game.lol

nice body for an asian.hope he can be a park ji sung for us in the future.

Park is so useful in Manchester United not because of his pace(he is fast but so does other player like walcott, rooney, lennon),but his initial outburst acceleration(which means if a player is in front of Park within 10 yards that player is going to get owned)

more handsome than park ji sung... biggrin.gif

walao.. u simply jump ship like that one ar... after arsenal got more fans.. then, u jump to fulham lo... hahaha

i supported Holland before supporting Arsenal.. that time i like Dennis Bergkamp very much..
Then, he joined Arsenal, then, i started to support Arsenal... After that, supported France in 2002 because i dont like brazil(france rivals in 1998) fancy football...
Then, after that my 3rd choice will be argentina(brazil rivals in south america)..

Then, 2004, i added other teams in.. which were Germany and Spain.... started 2008, i lost interest in France because of Domenech... and soon.. argentina moved to 2nd choice just behind netherland...

Then, Argentina was drop after Maradona took over the coaching role. he is a joke.... and soon, spain was droped due to their arrogant on tapping up our captain.. i always related (spain = barca).. that is why when i love spain, i love barca.. when i hate barca..same goes to spain...

So now, left Netherland and Germany... but, i still concern but not support France because a lot of Arsenal players are there...

As long as I'm a Malaysian, I find it difficult to "support" another national team coz there's just no connection. I love watching World Cups, EUROs, etc but if England or France or Germany wins the tournament the feeling for me is "Ok good for you".

I mean, Arsenal has no connection as well geographically, but somehow the affinity is built over the years by watching them play week in week out I suppose. But national teams... I don't know... I like the way how certain countries play, like the Dutch in the 70s and the new look German side, and I try to catch their games, but it really doesn't affect me at all if they win or lose.

That's just me lah. Not saying I'm right or you're wrong or whatever.

Zan, you are right.. and the way u conduct is correct...

but, sometimes our national team lets us down... and some of the internal policy even push us further away....
i don't feel proud when i was wearing malaysia football jersey.. but, i did when i was wearing arsenal jersey.. it is weird.. but, it is fact...

Watched the NLD 04/05 at WHL on channel 817 just now. That team is on whole different of level compared to this (which is unfair to compare both team anyway) current team. They immediately press the opponent when they lose the ball and watching Vieira marauding the team really takes me back. At 1-1 on 47th minute, Wenger already show his frustration after Reyes fail to take his chance. You won't see that anymore in him these days (unless when we're losing with 10 minutes to go). What really makes me teary-eyed though is when Fabregas assist Ljunberg for his goal. Everyone (almost) in our team hugs Fabregas and congratulate him.
