» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « OMG ultra poison! I wished my dad and my friends were into photograph like you and your siblings Added on August 23, 2010, 10:53 pm QUOTE(kysham @ Aug 23 2010, 05:43 PM) It is not difficult to get these shots. Don't worry, with enough experience, you will know how to do these kind of shots. Thanks for the reply, can't other flashes work? not even the newer f42am? Yes, the F20AM was mounted on the A850 and fired to trigger the two units of F58AM. The Sony's wireless flash triggering system requires a flash (either a built-in flash or a F20AM / F58AM mounted on camera) in order for it to work. It will not work any other ways. QUOTE(Jet23sky @ Aug 26 2010, 06:19 PM) Actually I dont know why... My first digital camera is Kodak Camera, the colour is really impress during that time. I have quite a number of friends who have Canon, Nikon and Sony DSLR camera. When bunch of frens show me the photos, I can tell which photo is being taken by Canon and which is not. ( Really, but not every photo lah, I'm not that geng Hmm... Can't answer you on this 1? This also might be caused by "human variable factor" lol! Did all of those photos come straight from the camera? Maybe your friend which was using the canon likes to edit his photos to make the colours too saturated and likes his photos "well exposed"? (It might be well exposed to him but its overexposed to us) Haha! Maybe its also difference in skills, metering problem bla bla bla... Tons of factors! Haha!Even though a lot of people are telling me there are lots of lenses around for Canon compare to other brand. But for me perception, the most important is the natural quality of photo taken, not how many types of lenses can be put in or keep comparing which megapixel is higher LOL. I am just a starter, and I'm not so eager to become professional cameraman. Taking photo is purely my hobby, as long photo is pretty and natural, I'm happy. Anyone know when will the A580 release? November or October? How did you all estimate the price? By including lenses as well? I'm quite noob about this. Yeah, you can't own every lens there is in a market. A good lens will serve you well if you know how to utilize it, ie. knowing the sweet spot for the lens and knowing the capability of your lens(it will have its limitations but as long as you know it you can find ways to overcome it). (I'm still using my kit lens despite being able to afford better lens) (proly because I'm saving for the successor to a700) and the image quality doesn't dissapoint, there are lots of ppl who take great pics using the kit lens and I'm sure they are willing to share some if you asked Sry, but I'm not sure on the release date for A580 because I'm resisting poison from A55 |

QUOTE(cplow1 @ Aug 26 2010, 06:59 PM) you need to have high EQ if you wanna buy sony DSLR because you will have a lot of ppl asking you the reason for your purchase. Haha! My friends who use Dslr are cool with me being a Sony user (except a certain D3 user who keeps poisoning ppl left n right to join him when you go shop hopping looking for new lens people will ask you why "play" sony. All your nikon and canon friends will ask you same question. That's why i poison my whole family to use sony. 1 Malaysia, 1 photography, 1 DSLR. |

QUOTE(d4rkholeang3l @ Aug 28 2010, 08:52 PM) I use 1 for my a350. Its good but the paint at the back will fall off after long periods of using it. The shutter button bulges out, different feeling from the one on my alpha. shutter speed dail is a bit stiffer too. But for the price, I can live with it |

QUOTE(lwliam @ Aug 29 2010, 07:07 PM) diffusing and bouncing are different ways of flashing, although many ppl use it together at the same time. Thanks for your reply, so... which is better? thicker or thinner plastic? And what material of the plastic is better? What about those miniature softbox i saw on ebay which they put on their flash, are those any good? main purpose of a diffuser, as its name states, is to diffuse light. as long as your diffuser fits onto your flash head, then any type of diffuser is good, difference is thickness and material of the plastic. |
