haven't had chance to play with this phone...that means...people will either go for C6-01 or N8 or E7 right

Played with the demo phone today. Although the phone is responsive, however, I would say do not expect much from this phone. Maybe I am too used to Nokia N8, that's why I have this little incling that C7 is lacking something which I need to further explore.

Camera wise is good enough if you are not a photo-geek. Hardware is solid enough but some may think it looks plastic-ky.

Overall, quite an impressive phone however I would suggest to pay little more for Nokia N8 instead.

Hahaha... indeed it is a very common conclusion. I think this phone caters more to lady users. Slickish & Comfortable at hand. Unlike Nokia N8, some ladies might not like the broad solid feel towards it. Well, it all draws down to individual preference at the end of the day.   

That bulge is obvious and visible enought at the camera area, and I tend to wear my working pants a little loose... not obvious kua...

Of course, wear tight sure obvious liao ma.. As for K800, the phone is really thick leh. Wear school pants some more, sure the bulge is even more obvious. It's kinda different for Nokia N8 instead. Don't wear until like cycling tights la... that one no need say it's truly obvious lorrr

N8 is King of Camera Phone. of course cannot beat lor

with the photos i shot with the Nokia N8 ill choose nokia N8 anytime. Another key point Nokia N8 can stand haha

i oso wondering why Nokia want release a new phone with fixed focus camera..maybe they wan push up the sales of N8.

ex,set new entry to-do note type at 1nov.but it shows at 13nov.
any idea?

Guess there's not many C7 users in this forum. Try asking people in N8 thread. It will be the same. However if it's a minor software bug, it would most probably only affect a specific model and not every model.

Same Symbian^3 but diff interm of camera & RAM. C7 having more RAM juice but fail in camra bcos of the full fouced /Edof cam which is a no-no for those wanna feel closer to DSLR feeling.. (i.e u can't get the best bokeh using this C7..Check the diff in the cam specs here:

haha.. actually after vast reading about all OSes, i choose symbian^3 as my first smartphone for the simple, and lower price range (i'm student, so, need to consider $$ 1st )

i choose c7 rather than n8 cuz i dun wan too pricey phones. and i will buy a camera after this, so, better c7 than n8 and i can bear with the camera though  plus, i like the slimmer c7. the black one looks good   for girl, the brown and white is superb   i got this for 1270 only from GNEX, far less than sold at nokia @ 1490, add 200 can get n8  <--- this one sure regret if buy

untill now i'm very satisfied with the phones. just the phone is a finger-print magnet. u know, not just the screen, but its whole phones! except the metal battery cover but i can bear with it.

the speed is acceptable to me screen is bright. speed is as to be expected from capacitive unit. what else? hmmm..
