Tried to google for a definitive answer on this issue but still a bit confused in the end:
Question: Does a nandroid back up back up BOTH your ROM & Radio? Answer seems to be NO, it only backs up image of ROM, not Radio.
This is important because we all do a nandroid backup, together with titanium backup and/or mybackup pro, when we root and upgrade from Eclair to Froyo.
But upgrading to Froyo is not only about upgrading the ROM but also upgrading the Radio. So, what is the point of doing nandroid backup if it does not also back up the radio?
If, for whatever reason, we want to downgrade back to the nandroid version of ROM we saved before we upgraded to Froyo, we still would not be able to downgrade to radio (maybe for warranty purposes?).
So how? Where can we then get back our old version of Radio for warranty purposes?
Anybody here can help shed some light on this? I'm a little bit confused.

QUOTE(samurai1337 @ Aug 20 2010, 07:36 PM) Just re-flash to whatever version you want http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=687464And I think flashing the RUU (Stock HTC ROM) will replace your radio back as well http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=695667The problem with this build: RUU_Bravo_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.19.707.7_Radio_32.36.00.2 8U_4.06.00.02_2_release_126179_signed.exe is that it requires hboot v0.75, will not work on hboot 0.80 (I remember reading this on xda). So, if we want to claim warranty, can just flash to generic WWE latest version which I read somewhere can flash on hboot 0.80 ?? I guess nobody here has unrooted and downgraded for warranty purposes so we wont know.... This post has been edited by wcyly: Aug 20 2010, 07:58 PM

Question to those using Modaco custom ROMs:
I baked my own ROM yesterday but I specifically chose to include Modaco additions such as Titanium backup, Ad Free etc. However, I can't seem to find these apps in my app drawer. I assume they are in my ROM somewhere. How to locate?
Thanks.

Ok, so I have installed Modaco custom ROM and I have A2SD built in.
This A2SD stuff is bloody confusing. Namely:
How do I control/manage what applications get installed to SD card vs the phone's internal memory?
The only program that seems to give me any info at all regarding my A2SD partition is "Quick System Info Pro".
2 problems here:
1. I can see that some programs I downloaded from the market have by default been installed to the SD card, but how do I move them back to the internal memory if I want to?
2. Can I choose to disable A2SD when I am downloading an application from the market if I want to install that program in my internal memory and not to the SD card? I do not want the apps to be installed to the SD card by default.
Thanks.
