QUOTE(Pennywise @ Aug 25 2010, 09:39 AM) Modaco r8, consume battery quite fast. I woke up with 94%, seems like it will never reach 100% even left charging all night. On my way to work, saw LeeDroid 1.9a in my sdcard. Itchy hand so flash back LeeDroid 1.9a. Anyone know how to disable the startup R2D2 sound? It's annoying. Use Silent boot

QUOTE(chiahau @ Aug 25 2010, 06:10 PM) Next sense auto download apps to SD card right? depends on whether you have a2sd+ setup properly (i.e. ext2/3/4 partition on your sd)

QUOTE(samurai1337 @ Aug 26 2010, 03:47 PM) What kind of things you do to hit that usage? watching youtube all the time with your desire? I'm also on 3Gb plan. I got it when it 1st launched so there is a rebate of rm10 off the data plan every month. Which means 3gb for Rm78. So I though might as well la... And it turns out that 3gb was a good choice cuz i regularly use up abt 2gb every month. Download when i feel like it, stream music/video when i feel like it, wouldnt want to limit myself on data use lol.

Cooking your own rom @ http://cookandroid.com/ worked perfectly. Test Cooked and downloaded a leedroid 1.9a without all the useless HTC widgets and apps last night. Flashed and worked perfectly. I like how they allow you to even choose your start up animation too on a separate note, I rooted a samsung galaxy s for a colleague. quadrant score went up from 823 (unrooted and before applying lag-fix) to 2212 (after rooting and applying lag-fix). And I was like *jaw-drop* This is on 2.1 eclair mind you. It's prob gonna go higher if 2.2 froyo gets on that machine. Too bad for their hopeless UI, overall lousy design (iphone clone) and poor choice of materials used.

QUOTE(monkiwa @ Aug 27 2010, 01:15 PM) Can we get more internal storage over 140++mb if we cook our own rom?or is there any custom rom after flashing had internal storage over 140mb? most, if not all custom roms out there supports A2SD+ (Apps To SD). In order to flash a custom rom, you need to root ur phone first, then create a ext(2,3 or 4) partition and finally flash the rom that you want. Depending on how large you set your partition to, all apps will be installed into that partition.
