hey guys, just got a desire from Maxis 2 days back.
now trying to set app install location to SD card as phone is running out of space.
I've read on some website where we can do it at the ADB by typing
adb shell pm setInstall Location 2
Tried but keep getting error.
can someone tell me what went wrong ?
Do i have to Root it before doing this ?
Hope someone could provide some assistance.

{ firmware is 2.1 -update1 , does it mean i'm already on Froyo ? }

Dear All, I've been following this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=741836and installed the RUU rom. after finish the program says finish and i could start using my phone.. however, i hear the usual start up sound from the phone but screen remained black. what's the problem here or it is usual ?
