I have 512MB ext3 partition and 0 swap. I installed some apps. Then, some has MOVE TO SD labelled, so I moved most of them and then it gave me a warning message saying: No more space. That's impossible because when I check, all my storage internal, system, sdcard still has space.

Another difference I noticed on NextSense 5.3 is that when I received a call, I get more buttons then when I make them. I get like 4 or 5 extra little buttons which I never see before.

Updating app from Market will randomly reboot my Desire. Has anyone encountered any of these problems? Too late for me to get into the details, will post more tomorrow.

Correctly me if i m wrong, if we are using APP2SD+ when we plug our phone into the comp, the apps which are d SDcard wouldnt go missing? M i right?

i manage to flash next sense, then i proceeded to flashing the radio, while it reboots, it was stuck at the HTC screen for very long 15 mins +, so i yank out the battery, and i can never get past the htc screen now

Guys, wanna check if you guys encountered this. Some times, you download app from Market or go Market to do an "Update All", you get some app, downloaded but stuck, like cannot install properly. What do you do then?

hi guys.. newbie here... just got my Desire yesterday... after 2days surfing this thread & all previous thread, i found all the info very useful & really help me to know my Desire better... but, i have a few question need clarification from all of u...

1-why some of forumer do so many times rooting & re-rooting the desire?
2-what happen if i try, & fail to root my Desire? any impact?
3-Is rooting can save batery power?
4-should i turn off my 'mobile network' data if i'm not using it to eliminate my data being overused? synchronized automatically?

4. Depends on your data plan. Use NetCounter to keep track of your usage. But you shouldn't be too worried if you have 1GB/month or connect to wifi most of the time.

What kind of things you do to hit that usage?  watching youtube all the time with your desire?
Ya I think you need the drivers for HTC Sync

I hated the pre-baked R8 to be honest. The only one that came with App2SD+ have this annonying program called Wavesecure around that cannot be uninstalled. I just flashed back to OpenDesire 3.6.1 and giving it a try for a few days. Maybe Cyanogen mod a try as well, if there is alot of good comments from them.

Just flashed to Cyanogen 6 a while ago. First impression, looks much better than OD even on Vanilla UI. Everything is clean and good but apparently, they didn't come with a lot of those Google stuff by default like market. Had to install a seperate google package by them.

Free space is lower than OD as well at 110MB compared to 150+ MB on OD with EXT partition on both. Gonna try it for a while before deciding which to use

Tats the problem if u dont have d online kitchen for R8. If you wanted the app2sd+, it will have d wavesecure which is very troublesome.

I think it support app2sd+ coz when i partition, i hav more space. Weird...

Btw,any idea whether v get similar widget like d people widget for sense?

I didn't bake mine cause i didn't pay. I only get the pre-baked R8 which is free by Modaco And the version with APP2SD+ comes with Wavesecure.

From his thread he didn't mention the price.. so you have to pm him for the price..  don't know 16gb he got o not.. last time i buy tat time.. none seller have 16gb for class 10~ [i meant for kingmax... kingston got stock class 10.. but dam expensive ~ ]
