QUOTE(speedworksonline @ Dec 15 2010, 07:47 PM)
hi everybody
I'm Proton Waja owner here~
Will be changing to open pod air injection kit real soon!
I wonder how much different will it make...
*
how old is your waja? 4g18 or campro / campro cps?
if just open pod for 4g18/campro wont do..
but if cps then its another matter.. heheh..

last week my frens neo cps dynoed at rs dyno..
he just replace his air intake with open pod while most of the rest is stock including extractors..
cps on paper states its a 125ps engine right.. dyno result of cps with an open pod shows the figure of 154hp! flex.gif

ps - i'm going to speedworks this saturday.. warranty claim on my full system hotbits on my neo.. icon_question.gif

last 2 weeks i dynoed my neo at rs dyno with a partially blocked midbox..
i didnt knew my midbox was broken when i dynoed but when the result came out it was a suprise as the numbers were quite low.. and robyn who did the dyno state everything was fine with my neo.. only when i got back to dori2 and told my tuner the result did he trouble shoot and found out about my midbox problem.. i guess if he's a really experienced guy then maybe he just couldnt care less about my dyno that day as i'm not a regular there..

last friday i sent my neo for warranty claim at speedworks for the midbox problem.. its the 2nd time.. 1st time my bullet kong.. now midbox.. and its not even 1 year yet.. so much for hotbits.. icon_rolleyes.gif

Added on December 22, 2010, 10:06 amI lost the link edi.... where to find the seller who sell Waja ori steering for RM120/150
*
with that price, you most probably will get a worn steering oso.. better double that and get a halfcut momo subaru or evo steering.. 4 spoke leather.. around rm300.. a slightly cheaper option which i went for is a momo imitation steering wheel with real leather as the leather is soft giving nice grip.. those halfcut leather steering some times are a bit hard since they are already quite old, even tho looks like new..

attached pic is my momo imitation steering.. got it for rm200.. 80 for bosskit.. another 20 for installation.. love it cos it really gives new car feel.. heheh.. rclxms.gif

QUOTE(Mie @ Dec 22 2010, 02:06 PM)
how much the leather wrapped wheel?
*
mostly they charge around rm200-rm250 to wrap the wheel..
depends on individual preference regarding wrapping..
have to remember.. when u wrap u are adding additional thickness to the steering wheel..
some ppl dont mind, some like their steering wheel feel thin.. some like it thick..

Haha..to little la bro..even mix oso have 3 litre..not enough for one engine..huhu

Nway bro have u tried new engine oil at Dori2?
*
if u have 3litre good enough ma..
just buy 1 litre bottle.. eon servis usually got sell 1 liter bottle.. i use to buy them when sending my waja there..

now since my neo already frequent dori2, my waja will start sending there too..
dori recommend for 5k interval or 8k interval service can use CITGO oils..
for 10k interval use castrol magnatec..

Hi to all the waja user, actually i got question hope u all can assist me. My waja is year 2002 and the problem is everyime i go through the speed bump or pothole i can hear my front car have the 'klok klok klok' sound. Send to workshop check some say maybe is suspension but my suspension is still fine. Does any1 experience it? Thanks
*
are you sure your absorbers are ok? no leaking at all? how old is it? if its oem and 2 years old i think its a good time to replace it..
also if you have a bent cornering arm that could also cause the klok klok sound..
thankfully 1 cornering arm doesnt cost much.. replaced it with labour for RM90 at an eon service center..

Since changing to rear heavy duty springs for my waja, i feel that my waja's rear is a bit lowered from stock.. some time i see some other waja which has very2 high rear, made the waja looks big! any idea how this is done?
stock spring + additional bushes?

QUOTE(yngwie @ Dec 29 2010, 06:50 PM)
braking distance still longer. and sidewall flex a lot during touge'. then again, even ps3 tend to flex too  tongue.gif
btw, neo will not tolerate 205/45/16 so well. even with adjustable. top sidewall still hit the inner fender sometimes! best still 195/50/16 or 195/45/16.
*
are you sure ah cannot use 205/45/16 on neo?
i used that setup before wor..
user posted image
pickup very cun.. cornering oso very cun.. took a long sweeping corner at 110kmh.. tongue.gif
maybe you are not using the stock suspension and spring.. dats y hitting the inner fender..

later i even use 195/55/16 with stock suspension..
user posted image
still not hitting the fenders.. pickup n cornering suffered but in terms of grip, quietness and comfort, really a whole lot better then any tires i tried before.. also i used an online tyre calculator to do comparison..
let say stock 16" rims comes with 195/50/16.. when upgraded to 195/55/16.. the dimensions grew by 3.4% only..
not so good laa bcos the calculator says need to stay below 3% changes or some stuff wont be accurate like speed and braking dynamics also lari..
