After a few months of getting well verse with "Speak Now", I can safely say this album is better than "Fearless". It has more songs than "Fearless" that gets stuck to your head! OK, maybe that's just me. Both albums are absolutely amazing.
My favorites : 1. "Mine" 2. "Sparks Fly" 3. "Back to December" 4. "Speak Now" 5. "Dear John" 6. "Mean" 7. "The Story of Us" 8. "Never Grow Up" 9. "Enchanted" 10. "Better Than Revenge" 11. "Innocent" 12. "Haunted" 13. "Last Kiss" 14. "Long Live" 15. "Ours" 16. "If This Was a Movie" 17. "Superman" 18. "Back to December" (Acoustic version) 19. "Haunted" (Acoustic version) 20. "Mine" (US Version) 21. "Back to December" (US Version) 22. The Story of Us" (US Version) My absolute favorites and imo, the instant classics of "Speak Now" are : 1. "Speak Now" 2. "Enchanted" 3. "Better Than Revenge" 4. "Haunted" 5. "Superman" The best! There is one song that, how do I put it, is not my favorite though I don't hate it and that is "Dear John" Recently "Back to December" Music Video was released : And a "Haunted" performance a la music video she did for NBC : I would give this album a 9.5/10 Highly, highly recommended. Taylor Swift fans, this is a no brainer. On a special note, barnacles T Swift! Why aren't you not performing in Malaysia next month! Singapore and Hong Kong get to see her perform live... Aish... sad. So close yet so far. I so badly wanted Malaysia to be on her Speak Now Tour. Furthermore, this is the first time she is performing in Asia (first time stepping into Asia too I guess). |

Taylor Swift wins top country entertainer prize~ Taylor Swift was voted entertainer of the year at the Academy of Country Music awards, though Miranda Lambert ended up the night's big winner. Accepting her award, 21-year-old Swift said she was "just losing my mind". "The fact that this is from the fans makes it so special," she added. Swift - whose album Speak Now sold a million copies in its first week of release last year - beat fellow nominees Lambert and Paisley to the entertainer of the year award. Wow... awesomely emotional. Have to wait until Oct 22nd for the album! QUOTE Taylor wrote a song for a 4 year old boy called Ronan who passed away from a battle with Cancer, Taylor wrote the single after reading a blog from Ronan's mother who helped Taylor write the song. This is one of the sweetest songs Taylor has ever written! This post has been edited by defaultname365: Sep 11 2012, 11:19 PM |
