Anyone participate in AMEX 10x point couple months back? The promo ended 31st of July, my August and September statement still does not show any 10x point although I am 100% sure I met all criteria and eligible for it.
*
For AMEX related questions, please go to dedicated AMEX thread.

There has been a discussion on this matter. Some forumer claimed that they're starting to receive portion of it.

Then what is the difference between DA MC and DA Visa?

Got difference. Petrol rebate is only applicable for DA MC.

Thanks =)

Did anyone know how to view CIMB credit card statement online if don't have CIMB account? Did they charge for monthly statement?
*
They don't charge for monthly statement and they deliver the printed copy to your house.

Alternatively, you can apply for CIMBClicks Internet banking to view your transactions online but they don't have e-statement yet.

Thanks.

Do you know how does CIMB Zing Card work? What is the fees and charges? Is it better than using TnG?

Added on October 3, 2010, 10:25 pm

Haha, I don't travel much, this is not an attractive point to me =)
*
Zing is actually T&G linked to your CC which automatically reload itself once the balance is running low at certain value.

Charges:

Reload Amount | Reload Fees
RM100 | RM1.50
RM200 | RM2.00
RM300 | RM3.00

Hi,

Am asking on behalf of my sister. She's using CIMB Classic Mastercard, and this morning she viewed her CC account online. Her CC's limit is RM6k, current usage is at RM820+, however in the statement it states that her available credit balance is RM4200. She asked me why is it so, when her CL should be RM6k. hopefully someone could answer this on behalf of myself..thanks in advance.
*
Did she got any credit limit increase lately?

Or did she did any installment plan recently?

Hi all, is it we cannot pay OCBC credit cards via CIMB? I tried to search under bill payment - credit/debit cards but do not see OCBC there...
*
Should use Interbank Fund Transfer instead right?

To obtain higher credit limit:

1. To prove you have bigger paycheck
2. To be a good paymaster
3. Always spend to reach near the offered limit

Its ok, I just trying to see how it works first. Then only pay it when I get my statement.
So I'll use IBG transfer to OCBC and my card number right?
*
You put your OCBC CC number as the account number.

If there's a selection for Transaction Type, choose Credit Card.

MBF is a pure Credit Card player. Their revenue stream is only annual fee, finance charges, card issuer and merchant fees. Hence their reluctance to give a simple waiver.
*
Are they part of AMBG? I heard there's some relationship.

Think Ambank is their collection agent since they have no branches of their own. Furthermore Ambank acquired MBF Finance in 2001 so they do have a relationship.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AmBank

The MBF now is MBF Cards Sdn. Bhd. likely a spin-off from the acquisition above.
*
Spin off now? Meaning they're no longer part of AMBG I assumed.

I heard that Malaysia will stop the service tax of RM50 in year 2011 from one of the CC agent in Tropicana city mall the other day.

is this true or the agent is bullsh*t me?
*
There's proposal to do so and replace it with a limited number of CC per person; most likely 2 CC.
