Guys had been driving my car for 2 years and now its clock at 52k.

1) Can i know how do i check whether my IAFM is still working?
2) I had brought my car out for service instead of proton, changed to 10-40w oil and seems like the car is smoother, that's all
3) regarding nissan clutch, how much would it cost changing them?
4) It seems like for manual transmission the gear vibrates quite alot, is there anyway to fix it?

Yo yo guys had anyone tested Power Booster Gold Turbo ECO + TURBO AIR BOOSTER (TAB), im planning to get from our dear forumer Ice Cube. Got no plans for better fuel consumption but i really want more umph for my car. im driving daily from klang to cyber on a highway now i felt like i need more umphhh..

Planning to sell off my saga blm earlier on for hyundai accent / coupe (2nd hand) but sayang la coz need to pay bank around 7 - 9k from my own pocket. ish.

new hyundai accent / coupe (1/2 years) seems to be doing really good not in terms of fuel consumption but performance and also handling. somehow i started to feel 1.3M is not anymore a nice ride for 2 hours journey daily. Anyway BLM still pawns Myvi to be honest. haha

*that is the reason why i would want to opt for some modification go give me some slight boost of power and energy. Now it seems like once the car hit 120km/h the extreme roaring sound will kick start. need some power to ensure 120km/h is smooth and silky on the road will be going to go and check my absorber and suspension next month as well for some tuning.

That's why would really be great if someone can feedback on Power Booster Gold Turbo ECO + TURBO AIR BOOSTER (TAB), wonder how good would it be. For Saga i think the pickup isn't really that good but it's still pretty stable driving at 120km/h unlike Myvi.

GUYS! our BLM can it use mineral oil? was planning to change abit. I've been using semi synthetic and last round i change to 10-40w was thinking to service it 5k km more frequent instead of 10k km. please advise.

Alright! if i go for mineral oil 10-30W should it be ok? I am driving heavily 3 months 10k on highway thus wanting to have a more regular check up on my car instead of waiting for 10k.

Haha that sounds dangerous! Anyway, seems like my back tyre on the back is lowered compared to the one on the left anyone know whether can i adjust the suspension for such case or do i need to change a certain thing?

P/S: anyone knows any reliable mechanics in Shah Alam area? would be my 2nd time bringing my car outside of Proton Workshop.

Guys seems like everyone is still taking their BLM back to the Proton SC for repair. No one have encountered non Proton Mechanic Workshop which can do the service? need someone reliable and honest .

I know there is alot workshop but is there any recommended. I've met too many cut throat workshop. Take there they ask me change this change that. i hate it when people ask me to change this and that when i know there is nothing wrong with my car. I want somewhere reliable.

mine 60k liaw! i think warranty until 100k right? anyway i did not bring back to the SC because i cant get an appointment previously. Only able to bring back on Saturday and during Saturday they always say fully book. End up after 2 weeks take go outside for maintenance.

hahaha nothing! around the same price rm16x Proton SC rm19x usually. but instead of using 15-50w oil i use 10-40w which is 30 bucks more expensive. oh ya and also change the air filter! which is not suppose to but i paid rm28 just to make sure the next time i service i can see the difference.

Breakdown!
rm9x for 10-40w Shell oil
rm28 for proton ori air filter
rm4 for some getah which is suppose to prevent some minor oil leakage
the rest workmanship.

This guy consider quite OK but his in Setia Alam i went to a few shop and ask here and there, say SAGA BLM is not suitable to use semi synthetic.... WTF!!! some bring in say eh your gear abit lose need change spring nah nah nah... fedup with this kind of mechanic. Baru sit in my car already know so much problem... Im driving about 150km per day i feel nothing.

yea! that's the thing! i need to go and check 60k service need to change what part then i will follow Proton recommendation to ask the mechanic change accordingly. i Dorwan to kena potong leher! most probably if no good recommendation i will go back to the same mechanic. haha.

Bro what the hell did you do to your car!? why the FC so damn good one? i can hardly get 350km on 120km/h!!! any modification done on your car? And you are driving on 140km/h the FC should be poor! fuh~ not fair!~

ok thanks bro in this case service outside should be slightly cheaper. but this round i will go back for 15-50w semi synthetic oil. no difference la 10-40w and 15-50w. haha

Bro is that called the tensioner? i saw it in the pro care package rm140 yo~ for manual saga.

AGREE! Shell 10-40w really hopeless. anyway let's wait abang Alien recommend his oil. i really want his milleage! hahahaha.
