QUOTE Description This post has been edited by max_cjs0101: Jan 28 2011, 11:29 PMOil Cooler Kits help prolong the life of your oil and in turn your internal engine components. Hard driving causes higher engine temperatures. Factory oil coolers are normally small water-cooled devices sandwiched between the oil filter and engine block. These tax the cooling system even under normal driving conditions. Because the latest generation of engines are smaller, run at higher RPMs and produce more heat, maintaining the correct oil temperature is imperative. In addition, most engines have less oil capacity, putting more of a strain on the oil and all engine components. WORKS oil coolers are an excellent addition and are especially effective in harsh driving environments. With our inner-fin core design, we are able to increase oil capacity, decrease oil temperatures, and extend engine and oil life. The efficient core and durable steel-braided lines ensure good flow and a leak free installation. Included in the kit is a mounting plate which is also a convenient place for oil pressure and oil temperature sensors installation. |

QUOTE(+Newbie+ @ Jan 29 2011, 02:01 AM) Guys, I'm at 10K km mileage right now and I'm thinking of switching from semi synthetic to fully synthetic oil so that I can extend to oil change interval to say 10K km intervals. Is this a good idea? I thought of doing the same thing also. I plan to use a better fully synth oil which is shell helix ultra. Some friends say it's no good and at most, I can stretch it to 7K only. Not sure what to make of this. I read some posters in autoworld saying the same thing as well. What do you guys think? Added on January 29, 2011, 8:58 am QUOTE(theanswer @ Jan 29 2011, 08:51 AM) Atf can be used in power steering and the auto gearbox. If power steering only need 1 bottle.Auto gearbox im not sure. QUOTE(+Newbie+ @ Jan 30 2011, 04:22 PM) Yeah. For me, I was thinking of Bardahl. RM90 for 4l is kinda tempting. I wanted to use that too but after some search on the web, i don't really want to try that.RM90 for a 100% synthetic oil + lotsa fakes out there? No thanks. |

QUOTE(koh_424 @ Feb 15 2011, 10:20 PM) i would like to ask bout the foglamp warranty period. currently my foglamp glass broke. can i claim for SC? will they cover the claim also? Even if your car is one day old and your foglamp gets broken the next day, there's no warranty for that.My right fog lamp's broken as well but i still havent change it though. Its RM120 for the whole set. |

From the blm forum, i notice most of the cars still maintain their cat-con.
I thought many were going to remove it. |

Anyone here installed a turbocharger for your blm?
I've read about the performance it gives and the fc might improve so im thinking about installing it. I saw that a new one(turbo unit only) costs around RM800. |

QUOTE(xshiro @ Mar 2 2011, 07:01 PM) not sure about more kick or not, but noise reduction better If im not mistaken, normally for air conds, they will ask you to go back to Sanden's service center.Added on March 2, 2011, 7:05 pm the compressor / air cond repair/replacement should be free... but for the 1k service, labour is free but need to pay for service item la..like engine oil..hehe QUOTE(khiat999 @ Mar 3 2011, 11:35 AM) so means can change? w/o voiding warranty? It all depends on Proton. We're not the ones who will be deciding whether your warranty will still be there or not so its best you just ask call Proton to ask. Anyway, even if you reinstall the ori extractor, they will still know that you've been playing with it so to save time and their money, they will probably reject your warranty request.i've install grounding cables and vs, does this affect too? and pros out there, can you recommend mufflers for blm? been looking around, hard to find leh |

Might be installing a UR front strut bar later but i've read that adjustable ones are better. UR's front struts are not. Anyone installed front strut bars to thier blm's? Any noticeable difference?

Most probably their products are good and thus more people know that brand well. Moreover its easy to get as its made in malaysia.
Btw, i've installed a non UR strut bar in front and a UR bar behind for RM190. |
