Thx hucqim80 for answering my question =D

Question more:
1)how many bit rate for video support smoothly for MI700?
2)is those high end graphic games like NFS supported in this device?(i'm a gamer for real ><)
3)is there any alternative s/w those gives smoother song player for it?(cause i heard that the original music player is laggy)
4)does it support rock player base?can it watch rmvb smoothly?
5)for last question,is it real a worth to buy item?I'm considering it~~=D

thx for answering more questions ><

To answer your questions

1) I found that movies encoded in h364 format at 1,500 kbps work best.
2) I can play NFS Shift and Asphalt 5 HD without problem. No lag at all.
3) You heard wrong. Stock music player plays music just fine. Just need to get a better pair of headphones.
4) Yes rock player is supported. Rmvb doesn't play very smoothly. You'll be better off converting to mp4 first.
5) Given the price, it's a good buy.

BTW, I'm running on custom rom with some performance tweaks.

There is a discussion on a similar gadget at MoDaCo. They have developed a custom rom there.

http://android.modaco.com/content/commtiva...online-kitchen/

I tried their rom and it ran the Mi700 very smoothly and responsive. The rom had hardware acceleration enabled. FYI, MSM7227 has dedicated GPU which is the Andreno 200, the same used by the 1st generation Snapdragon processors. So, playing 3D games is not an issue.

Now i'm using the stock CSL rom with tweaks based on MoDaCo rom. Hardware acceleration enabled, removed unnecessary apps, add essential apps (in my opinion) to the system. I'm currently working on how to overclock the processor.

If you have the cash, go for SGT. If you want flash internet, go for SGT. If you want high resolution screen, go for SGT. If you want lots and lots of internal memory, go for SGT.

CSL is 90% of SGT in terms of performance and functionality. I don't think the extra 10% is worth the extra RM1000+.

I'm thinking of selling my Mi700 too. Not going to get SGT. Maybe an iPad instead.

Is it happening all the time? Or intermittently? I'm having this problem too 3 hours after i left the shop. mad.gif

It doesn't happen often. Sent to service centre and they said they clean up the modules. Whatever that means.

Try using Multitouch Vis Test (download from Market) to test the touch screen.

Happen to me as well..
I might as well get replacement if any luck tongue.gif
this is what its all about when using OEM product..
And i though i was the only one with this problem. Good luck with the replacement. I had been pushing them for it and still no luck. So far no more problem with the screen as long i don't put excessive pressure on either side of the device.

Are you still keeping yours?

Nope. It's only running on Android 2.1 and using resistive touch screen (no multi-touch).

For those using the Droidpad, good news for you. Someone has managed to create a custom kernel for the device. Overclocked to 863 Mhz. Check out the link below.

http://android.modaco.com/content/commtiva...or-fm6-variant/

I have used it for several days now. No problem whatsoever. The device is very responsive now and no lag experienced.

Warning: This is not for the faint hearted and will void your warranty.
