7" too small to be called Tablet... At least a 10" screen la.
Besides, a 7" is hard to hold with one hand and then if you dock it, it feel small. A 10" is just hard enough to hold with one hand which require you to dock it and it still look acceptable.

QUOTE(mynewuser @ Sep 2 2010, 06:59 AM) Better buy 10.1" netbook. Many selling HP below 1000. The experience is totally not the same. While I appreciate netbook or notebook superior performance, I had been on the look for few years to get a touch screen tablet that is easy to use and time has come. Netbook is still no doubt offer a better way to do paper work, office documents but a tablet is for leisure. However, one would need to invest in higher end model to get the experience they been dreaming for.

QUOTE(MYstombox @ Sep 3 2010, 07:07 AM) The folio doesn't have market and the battery doesn't seem to give much confidence on the product. :s I was hoping toshiba could come up with something good with the folio but after viewing what was on display at IFA, pretty much a no go I guess. Dont fret, someone will come up with custom rom anyway... Android 2.2 isnt prepared for Tablet anyway thus Gingerbread is a necessity. Im not sure how Samsung 1GHz will handle Gingerbread. I would rather stick with Tegra2 dual core ARM Cortex A9 for it. The LCD is the biggest letdown it seem. I will be waiting for it to be released first and then see if its worth it.

QUOTE(vckc4ever @ Sep 3 2010, 12:10 PM) 10 inch can consider as a netbook liau.. i still think 7 inch is an ideal size..to carry around and put into your bag..( best is to buy a slip on cover for the tablet ). Those 10" qualified as netbook??? I see most of them had to stick their face to the screen to read the text... pity

QUOTE(aminsa @ Sep 27 2010, 07:57 AM) Yesterday I got a chance to play with it for about 15mins. Quiet impressed me, the smoothness and quick response. I tried to browsed stock etrading but failed with something. I'm thinking of buying one for stock etrading before that. So from the test result, I should forget my intention. BUT for general web browsing, i think its ok. Pinch and zoom is very responsive and no delay. I think the only platform that can support stock trading is Windows + IE.
