QUOTE(qhaireelz @ Aug 24 2010, 12:06 PM) i've tried my fren's SB600 before, n i think it is enough for me as a hobbyist... but since the price differences between those 2 are not much, give me a headache which one i should go for I would recommend SB600 if budget is allowed, cause the recharge time is faster.. I've wrote about the speedlight differences in this thread b4, can recall izzit this version or the previous version of thread.. If budget constrain, Di622 is good as well... |

QUOTE(weirdo88 @ Aug 24 2010, 01:31 PM) QUOTE(seng87 @ Jul 16 2010, 07:11 PM) There are actually few Pros and Cons for both of the SpeedLite.. Zoom Flash between the both are, Nikon SB600 covers from 18-85mm while the Nissin Di622 covers from 18-105mm Recycling power under full flash(1/1), Nikon SB600 rated at 2~3 seconds while the Nissin Di622 rated at 8~9 seconds Flash power definitely Nissin Di622 is higher Power consumption on Di622 is higher(Dry your AA battery faster) Nikon SB600 have LCD panel for advance settings while Nissin Di622 only has basic TTL or Manual Flash control Nikon SB600 supports Nikon CLS brows.gif while the Nissin Di622 only supports off camera flash trigger with Manual Flash control Nikon SB600 fells more solid comparing to Di622 Nissin Di622 have a built-in bounce card while the Nikon SB600 doesn't have cry.gif Nissin Di622 have a plastic hotshoe with screw tight mount which in my case, my fren broke it when i borrow him and it's an accident cause someone bump into him and the camera fell off to the floor while the Nikon SB600 have a metal hotshoe with a lock switch mount This is wat i wrote in the previous thread. |

It will stops the light which will spoils your pic from entering the sensor, in the other words, disallowed those light which will flares your pictures...When not to use a hood and when to use a hood ? Can I attach it permanently to the lens ? And use it at all conditions ? |

QUOTE(fabianz03 @ Sep 1 2010, 09:50 PM) Really... If got time I make a video about it lol 4 to 5 seconds oso consider fast.. But it's kinda impposible.. I own both flash my self, SB600 full flash recharge also take around 4 ~ 5 seconds, and my Di622 takes around like 8 ~ 10 seconds.. EDIT : Sorry, I mean 4 to 5 seconds lol, not 2 to 4 I recorded just now 4.50 seconds for full flash If u wanna measure ur speed of Di622, when u hear the beeping sound that indicates full recharge, else that will be not full recharge... |

Pilot is not fully recharge.. If u try to fire, and capture the frame, u will know wat i mean.. @Solid most of the time i use recyko, it's slow.. but with energizer, it's somewhere around 3sec... never try with eneloop b4.. |

Alkaline battery voltage is rated at 1.5v whereas the Rechargeable battery are rated at 1.2v, hence recycle time of the flash under stress condition, Alkaline battery will always faster than Rechargeable battery.. Sounds not convincing.?

QUOTE(celciuz @ Sep 15 2010, 07:50 PM) Not that soon i think.. Probably early next year.. Nikon have already launch quite a number of product... Looking at the new D7000, i think they are trying to focus on lil bit higher MPs with very good nice control.. D3s still own the professional market.. Might be holding back for a much more serious machine... Just my opinion... |

QUOTE(fcuk90 @ Sep 18 2010, 09:14 PM) yeah depend on condition. from my experience on both lens... Wide open, both are on soft side... around f/2.8, pics will sharp with decent bokeh.. that's all i can say.. most of lenses when wide open suffer softness... even on high ends lenses there are still softness but not noticeable, only when u do pixel peep..i doesnt know the 35mm sharp or not at f/1.8 , based on what i surf on net , those picture with 35mm f1.8 is ok |
